- MGMichael Graham3 days ago5.0We often stay in Lynchburg as an overnight stop driving to/from my sister-in-law's home. The Virginian is our new favorite by a long shot! The service impeccable, the property beautifully renovated and comfortable spacious rooms. Parking is right across the street and the main restaurant there, William & Henry is EXCELLENT also. To top that off they have a rooftop bar (year-round with fire-pits) with it's own great bar and restaurant from the same Chef. Finally, the service here has been amazing throughout - highly recommend this hotel!

I live in the DC area now but originally from Lynchburg and I was so happy to see the growth in the cities downtown that we decided to get married there. We picked the venue in May 2024 and got married November 2025. Our point of contact Shelby, Sales Manager, was amazing from day one! Wedding planning can be stressful but Shelby’s organization and calm/kind demeanor made the process so much easier. Also the venue offers a package that is hard to beat; no rentals to worry about, chair/table set up, and food. Also, the FOOD!!! Absolutely amazing, the chicken and salmon were cooked perfectly which is not an easy task with the size of our 100+ wedding. The amount of food and quality you get for cocktail hour is incredible. Our guest did not go home hungry that is for sure! The service was impeccable as well, food came out in a perfectly timely manner with no one having to wait for plates. Since my wedding I have had many guest tell me it’s one of the best weddings they have ever been to! Thank you so much Virginian for making that possible.

Room was very specious and bed was very comfortable .The staff was professional and very helpful and pleasant .Breakfast on the rooftop bar was decent-The view alone was worth it.
- DDdUdErOckNov 7, 20255.0While enjoying the fall colors and the history Lynchburg has to offer, we decided to stay and dine at the Virginian downtown Lynchburg. This truly was a great experience. We thought the hotel was very nice and service was good, but we were really blown away by the rooftop restaurant/bar Skyline. It was a great place to enjoy a gourmet meal and some great wine. You have to try the mac and cheese and the key lime pie. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Although it was windy that night, we were still able to sneak out and enjoy the views and the fire pit. We also got to see a marriage proposal, which was pretty cool. Definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant for its uniqueness.
- BABrian AmanOct 18, 20255.0From the moment of check in my experience was one of like I hadn't experience. My check in with Memory was great and fast and easy and she was very pleasant. The room was clean from top to bottom. Beds clean bathroom clean and all tops dusted. Went to breakfast on the rooftop for a late breakfast and both young ladies working were outstanding and very alert and on top of their tables. Speedy service and smiling faces. Elle and Olivia both were assisting and helping every guest from table top to walk ups. Even the manger Steven was helping and taking orders and even brought my food. Overall a great experience. My wife and I will be back in the near future...
