Our first room had a loud AC/heat unit, so we went down to ask for a new room. She was super kind and got on it right away! She also gave us local guidance and suggestions when we asked!

Without asking, they booked me at a lower-level hotel down the street. When I arrived there, I was told my reservation had been canceled because I hadn’t shown up by 3:30 — even though I didn’t get into Lynchburg until 4:00. Fortunately, that hotel had one room left and was able to accommodate me. To make matters worse, Homewood never notified Expedia that they refused my check-in. I had to handle the refund process myself through Expedia. I’m sure I’ll get a “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” response, but this wasn’t an accident — it was a series of choices that led to a poor guest experience: • Overselling the hotel • Rebooking me at a lower property without consent • Failing to communicate with Expedia This is not the level of service expected from a Hilton brand.

Room set-up, reservation confusion, denial to upgrade diamond member with available rooms, all the absolute worst. I've been here for a month and have nowhere to put my clothes away. I would rather stay at a motel 6. This is the first review I've ever written and I had to save y'all from making a very expensive mistake. I also moved the couch and there was a bunch of food, Sox and dust everywhere so they make them appear clean but they're actually coated in germs and bacteria.
