I would absolutely not recommend staying here. After checking out, I noticed bites all over my body, and this was the only place I stayed during my trip. When I reached out to let the staff know, their response was dismissive and unhelpful — no concern, no apology, no accountability. The room itself didn’t feel particularly clean to begin with and unfortunately I was right. I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels, and this was by far one of the most disappointing (and unsettling) experiences I’ve had. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness and guest health.

I had a great stay — everything was clean and everyone was incredibly friendly. Especially Pat who helped serve breakfast - she was very helpful and kind. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Room was standard for Hilton but the service was excellent. Rachel took care of us as we checked in and Pat and Chrustina were so friendly at breakfast. Pat took such good care of us during our meals and Christina was so helpful in answering our questions and serving us. Thank you Pat and Christina for excellent service!

BEDBUGS! Checked in on a Friday and checked out on Sunday morning. Overall we enjoyed the hotel however there have been 2 major errors by this hotel. Sunday night when we got home my wife noticed a bite on her wrist. Two nights later she’s noticed 4 more and unfortunately it seems we have brought bedbugs home from our trip- and this location is the lone hotel we stayed at on our short two night trip… I’ve been trying to get in touch with management and have only been able to get ahold of the assistant GM once this entire week and haven’t received any communication back like they had promised. No call from the GM at all. Bedbugs and horrible communication. This is clearly something that needs to be taken more seriously. GET IT TOGETHER HILTON GARDEN LYNCHBURG! BEWARE!!!

We were in town to visit our kids that go to LU. We normally stay at an Airbnb but we decided to stay in a hotel this time. We checked in and immediately found problems (trash in trash can that’s wasn’t ours, toenail clippings on the carpet, pubic hair around the toilet, the bathroom door didn’t close because it drug on the carpet, and the blinds didn’t cover the window) with the room. I called the front desk and was told that the hotel was booked. She offered to refund my money so we could go somewhere else but said all hotels were booked in the area. I fixed the blinds and we stayed the night. Fast forward to the morning. We paid extra for breakfast at the on site restaurant. We were told to sit down and a waitress would be with us. After serval minutes I went up and had to order food. The food came out wrong and there was no attempt to correct. The eggs were cooked in the restaurant but the side items came off the buffet bar (which is a regular continental breakfast bar). Mind you, I paid $10.50 a person and the walk in price is $18. We didn’t eat because it was nasty. The only positive was the general manager was super nice and gave me a partial refund. I would probably skip breakfast and maybe even this property.
