If I could give no stars i would but i had to give one star to post. I booked a room for my daughter and grandchildren (my granddaughter is autistic) When my daughter arrived at 9:30 pm they refused her a room because she had a cat. She had a reservation she didnt just stop.Clearly the website says pet friendly!! Needless to say my granddaughter had an episode because they wouldnt allow the cat. My daughter had to then drive home to NC because it was the only way to calm my granddaughter after leaving NH that morning. Very unprofessional conduct by the staff and night manager! If you have a child who has challenges this is not the place to stay.

Wildland Fire Crew in town to assist with wildfire suppression. When reservations were made crew was told that the federal per diem rate was going to be honored, as the government has set rates per locations that are to be followed. This is set to alleviate a cost burden on US taxpayers. While checking in, the hotel requested that federal PIV cards be scanned and copied. While we are allowed to show PIV cards to hotels as proof of federal employment, US law prohibits any copies being made (Title 18, U.S. Code Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701). This was explained to the front desk as well as the general manager. PIV cards were shown, and crew was told that was sufficient. Upon checkout the receipt did not reflect the mandated lodging amounts that crew was told would be honored. This is a selfish way to add unnecessary burdens on already struggling taxpayers. The crew fighting wildfires, away from their families will likely end up having to pay this balance out of pocket. It is unfortunate that the greediness of this hotel has affected so many people. Federal employees should beware that this hotel will lie and refuse to honor the per diem rates. There are other hotels in town that agreed to honor the federal rates.

Grace at the front desk was amazing! Our stay at Home2 Suites in Harrisonburg was fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our family of four. The location couldn't have been better – a grocery store right nearby, and tons of restaurants just a short drive away. The beds were super comfy, and we really appreciated having enough room for a baby playpen. The included breakfast was a huge plus, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The partial kitchen was also a great feature, especially with the option to request a stovetop. What really stood out was the staff – they were absolutely delightful and always ready to help. The parking in the rear was super convenient, making it easy to get into the building and closer to our room. We highly recommend Home2 Suites and can't wait to come back!

We always stay at Homes2 suites and thought we would try this one as it is new. We stayed on the first floor. We were disappointed by the lack of the privacy curtain that the other homes2 suites have. My husband stays up later than me so the curtain was always handy. The king bed only had one bed side table as well, which I found odd. The bathroom layout is awkward. Small vanity with lots of empty space. The door would not stay open and opened so you had to walk around it. Otherwise it was very clean and staff were friendly. My mistake to assume all Homes 2 suites are the same.
