The hotel and room was clean but dated and everything worked in the room. Breakfast and the choices was good and the breakfast area was clean. The mattress was not that comfortable, the chaise in the room was worn. The nightstand finish was flaking off due to wear. The TV remote was actually gross looking. I'm sure it was clean but someone used a bandaid to hold it together. It just doesn't look great. I am a long time Hilton member and it seems like it might be time for room renovations to freshen things up.

. Everything was clean, it was economical for us ,as it was only for the night. The hotel carries the Hilton name but is likely a franchise hotel. The upholstery doesn't look like that of current Hamptons in the Hilton corporate chain.

Rooms are dated but clean. Normal breakfast area with plenty of seating. Coffee on demand. Staff that you meet in the hallway were warm and friendly.

This whole location is in desperate need of a renovation, the while place felt run down. Check in took forever and was in no way automated. Our room had disgusting stains on the old carpet and there was no way I would have sat on the worn and dirty couch. The allow pets in the rooms here and there were plenty heard on the floor with us which may have something to do with the state of the room.

Showed up late and there were no parking spaces. That's always annoying.
It was 37° outside and the thermostat was set to A/C. Not a biggie, I switched it over to heat but it has jumped soon after to 99°. My wife then reset it to 74 and we woke up freezing because it dropped to something like 62. This is the second Hampton Inn in a row with thermostat issues.
At least one or the elevators don't show floor numbers - the display is broken.
And then the room. Nothing horribly wrong with it but it just looks long in the tooth. Every furniture edge shows dings or signs or wear.
The shampoo pump on the bathroom is stuck in the down position and doesn't pump - so no shampoo for us today.
I know that Hampton Inns are independently owned by they all seem to be getting old at the same time.
