When we returned later on that evening our key didn't work, so the girl at the front desk opened it with her master key. Once we got in, we realized that our suitcase was missing. We went down to the front desk and were told that our room had been given to another couple ...... That couple immediately realized that somebody else was either in that room or that they forgot their luggage. The hotel gave that couple a new room + took our luggage down to the front desk. It would have been nice if the hotel had contacted us to let us know about that situation instead of having us go into the room and then back down to the front desk and then have to wait quite a bit until they they got everything right in their computer. We are also thankful that the couple that did go in there was honest and didn't take anything. The staff was very courteous and did resolve the issue but I think they should have been proactive in contacting us and taking care of this situation instead of making us go to them to resolve it.
