The rest of the staff (every one of them) is sassy, rude and unprofessional. I’m a diamond member and stay at a Hilton hotel every week for work. I received my bill this week and got charged $5.00 per day for parking (WTH). I called and one of the sassy “usual suspects” at the first desk told me that’s how it is. I called Hilton corporate and they put me through to the friendly guy I mentioned earlier and he took it off my bill. The staff here makes it easy not to ever come back.

It was there for the week we were there at least. If the picture was indicative of the actual place it would have been beautifully lit at night as it was there was no lights. The workers just ate the food drink the coffee that was for the gas so gas had to wait for starters. Slippery shower floors because there's no water pressure to keep water moving to wash the shampoo and soap from your beneath your feet. Didn't put up plastic while they were working sheetrock, jackhammering concrete, and dust everywhere. Pro the beds were the best beds that I slept in and any hotel ever and I'm pushing 60. Housekeeping is great. Pet friendly. For$200 a night breakfast ALONE should have been above instead of below par.

Unfortunately, my family and I contracted COVID earlier in the week and decided not to travel to avoid exposing others. Before the 24-hour cancellation deadline, I called the Farmville Hampton Inn front desk to cancel my reservation. The clerk was polite and confirmed the cancellation, and on 9/11/25, I even received an email confirming it. However, on 9/15/25, my credit card was still charged as if I had not canceled. I immediately contacted both the hotel and Hilton Honors to resolve the issue. Hilton directed me back to the hotel, but despite leaving messages for the manager, no one has returned my calls. I have been a loyal Hilton Honors member (Silver/Gold) for decades, and this is my first negative experience. Mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and follow-up from this location is extremely disappointing. Hampton Inn Farmville, please do better.
