I'm giving this Hilton Garden Inn 5 stars. The rooms smelled really clean. It was in a good and private location, but most of all—the water actually got hot. Almost every Hilton I've gone to the water has been like warm or barely warmer than Luke warm. I'm cold natured so a luke warm shower feels cold to me. If you like hot water with your hotel room, this place is for you.
I didn't realize that breakfast was not included, but we are there. It was about $46 for me and my 3 kids. I did not eat the breakfast at the Garden Inn after that. It wasn't a horrible breakfast, but I did think Waffle House would have been better.
The staff overall were amazing and the morning attendant was too. If you are travelling and stopping in Bristol, this is a really great Hilton.

Nice soft but bright night light in the bathroom! Don't have to wake everyone up in the middle of the night! Such a small but nice thing I'm surprised more hotels don't have.

We stopped here while on a road trip. We'd actually visited a couple of years prior & had a good stay, so we felt confident staying again. The young lady who was the front desk clerk at check-in was just delightful (checked in on 12/12 around 5:50 p.m.). We were able to get a pet-friendly room ($75 non-refundable pet fee) & were informed that breakfast was served from 6-10 a.m. the next morning.
The room was very quiet--no gap under the door for light to shine through, which was nice. It stayed a little cool in spite of increasing the heat on the thermostat. The beds were uncomfortably firm & left my lower back aching the next morning. We were exhausted from our drive, so we slept until we felt we'd be safe for the next long leg of our road trip but would still give us enough time to get breakfast before heading out.
I took the dog out for a walk to relieve herself, and we had planned to take turns grabbing food so one of us could stay with the dog since she's not supposed to be left alone in the room.
9:35-9:40 a.m.--My teenage daughter was to go first but came back & told me it was a sit-down breakfast & we couldn't just serve ourselves from a buffet as we'd expected. We did a quick scramble & hurried back up to our room to get my car keys so our dog could wait in the car (it was chilly outside, so we planned to let the remote start keep her warm while we got breakfast). We arrived in the breakfast area at 9:49 a.m.
The young lady who was serving seemed impatient with the fact that we showed up at that time (though still within the window of time that breakfast is advertised to be served) & immediately informed us that "she's getting ready to stop serving breakfast back there" & did we already know what we wanted? We hadn't even sat down yet, so no, we didn't know.
We grabbed a table, checked the menu, and quickly made a decision. As soon as we sat down, we heard the lady from the kitchen say in a rather loud angry voice, "It never fails! There's always someone who waits until the last minute!" That seemed pretty rude & unprofessional, but we had arrived near the end of the time in spite of already trying to get food earlier (note: breakfast was supposed to be included with our room due to the level of Hilton Honors).
So, we both chose a Greek yogurt & fruit bowl in an effort to be courteous & not have to get something that would take longer needing to be cooked. The bowls were beautifully made & delicious. Our server became a little more pleasant when she brought our food.
I did, however, find a piece of plastic in mine, which I left on the side of the bowl. I was unable to mention it to the server as she didn't return to the table after taking my daughter's dishes since she was busy cashing out the drawer.
Overall, I was initially willing to overlook the uncomfortable bed & back pain because the hotel itself seemed nice. Some of the other employees we encountered were better behaved--specifically in housekeeping...they were friendly & kind. However, though, that does not apply to the gentleman at the front desk when we checked out. He was indifferent to us & never asked how the stay was or anything--just took our keys & continued ignoring us. Ultimately, though, the ladies serving breakfast had such impatient and/or rude attitudes that I will definitely think twice before staying here again.
We've stayed in lots of Hilton properties before, and this behavior is not typical of the ones we've visited.

I have dropped a lot of clients off at the Hilton Garden Inn, never once have I seen or heard anyone being unfriendly. (Ashley) is always the nicest lady ever. She’s helped me with many of my passengers.
