    Our family had an unexpected long-term stay at Home2 in Blacksburg while our child was receiving medical care nearby, and I can’t express enough gratitude for the kindness, flexibility, and genuine compassion shown by everyone on staff. What started as a short visit quickly turned into weeks away from home, and the team at Home2 made all the difference. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our changing needs — extending our stay without stress and ensuring we had everything we needed to make our situation a little easier. The room was always clean, comfortable, and peaceful — a true haven during an emotionally challenging time. Housekeeping and front desk staff were incredibly respectful and understanding, often checking in to see if we needed fresh linens or just a kind word. The management’s empathy and flexibility were remarkable. They treated us not just as guests, but as people going through something difficult — and that care meant the world to us. We will forever be grateful to Home2 for providing a safe, supportive, and comforting place when we needed it most. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just great service, but genuine humanity.     Rooms were clean. Good variety of food at breakfast. Great location-walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Heather and Malik were great! Always there to answer questions and give recommendations. All the staff was great! Our only criticism is the bar wasn’t open. Would definitely stay here again!

    Was heading to a family funeral. Had been driving since 4AM. Got to hotel at 1:35PM. In order to check in (85 minutes early) had to pay an EXTRA $40 or just wait til 3PM. Got to room faucet wasn’t even bolted down to sink (see pic) bathroom was dirty. Glasses and cups in kitchenette were dirty and sticky. Never again. I will say gentleman who checked me in was very nice and when I asked about $40 charge said “I don’t make the rules” and shrugged.

    I stay here often for work. My room has always been very clean. The room is very accommodating with sofa, desk and a small kitchenette. The only negative thing I can say is that their tv streaming very rarely works. This has been going on for months and isn't fixed yet. The staff blames it on the service provider. Other than that, I think this is a nice place to stay.
