  Hey everyone! I just had to drop a quick line about my recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Richmond – honestly, it was such a delightful experience, and I couldn't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the wonderful atmosphere, and a huge part of that was thanks to Timmy at the front desk. She's an absolute gem! So incredibly warm, genuinely kind, and just goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Her positive energy really makes a difference! And let me tell you, the breakfast each morning? It's seriously a highlight! Forget your typical hotel spread; this was something special. They serve up delicious sliced Kabasa sausage and fluffy scrambled eggs, and then there's the showstopper – a waffle maker that lets you craft your own perfect breakfast masterpiece. It felt like such a treat and was definitely a cut above the rest. If you're ever in Richmond and looking for a fantastic place to stay with amazing service and a breakfast that'll make your day, you absolutely have to check out the Hampton Inn. Warmly, Marie

  We drive from NY to FL and back every year, and we usually stop in Virginia for a night to rest our heads. We’ve been doing this for almost 10 years, staying at a different random spot everytime, AND THIS PLACE IS HANDS-DOWN THE BEST. The service was warm, the room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was generous, parking lot was well-lit, the location is conveniently located with places to eat within 2 min walking distance — really, our one night stay was immaculate. Thank you guys so much for making our stay so perfect. We’re going to stop mixing it up and are going to stay here every year now that we’ve bookmarked this!

  Definitely one of the better hotels. Very clean, excellent breakfast. This will become our go to when traveling from North Carolina to Connecticut. We have finally found the perfect hotel! The night clerk, Antonio, is a quality individual. We asked him if he was the manager. He stated, “I wish it!” I’m not used to seeing that kind of drive in an individual, and he’s very proud of this hotel and told us all kinds of good things about it. The people working here are quality individuals. A worker named Rico was cleaning every table and also placing each table and chair perfectly! These individuals care about this place! This hotel has got that’s something special that you’d see before the pandemic. Everything seemed to lose the magic during the pandemic, but this hotel has got it happening. we travel up to Connecticut from North Carolina about three times a year. We have always stayed at different hotels, and can’t quite find that clean hotel that we really like. We have found it! We will stay here every single time now.

  We had a great two-night stay at this Hampton Inn. Our room was spacious, the room and bathroom were really clean, and it was quiet. The breakfast buffet had a ton of options and every staff member we encountered was very friendly. We have family nearby and, going forward, whenever there’s no room at the(ir) in, this will be our go-to place to stay.

  All Hampton Inns should use this location as the standard for how all other Hampton Inns should be setup. We have stayed here multiple times on trips north or south. The setup at the coffee and hot chocolate station is fantastic, lots of toppings and flavored syrup choices. They also go above and beyond the standard at the breakfast area. The location has many nearby restaurants, il Forno is one of our favorites. The only negative is that the fitness center is small.
