    I don’t say this lightly. This was the best hotel experience of my life. I’ve stayed in beautiful hotels and Airbnbs all over the world, but there is something rare and unmistakable about this DoubleTree in SLC. Every detail, even the smallest ones, was handled with intention and care. The staff were an absolute joy, especially lofa and Blake, and created an atmosphere that felt both elevated and genuinely human. This isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a place you feel. I will truly plan future trips around staying here again. The energy is exceptional, the comfort is real, and the experience stays with you long after checkout. Ps. They deserve way way more stars!

    We had a great experience at this hotel! I called in with a few requests beforehand and Steven was super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. He was so friendly, outgoing and made our experience so much better than your average hotel stay. The hotel itself is really nice, well decorated, and rooms are comfortable. I wish we could’ve stayed for longer to take advantage of all the amenities. It is a bit of a walk to some of the rooms so make sure to check with the front desk if that’s an issue.

    Oh boy where to start with this one. First off, the building is very old, it literally looks like it’s falling at the seams. Splendid. Second, the noise. Heater makes a very loud noise, and on top of that the staff here don’t even let you sleep in the morning. On the second day here my husband and I couldn't sleep because of a vulgar young staff member screaming and cussing someone out on the phone in the hallways. We told another staff member passing by but I’m guessing he did nothing as the young girl began with her profanities about half a hour later. Talk about being incompetent. The food in the restaurant is okay but very overpriced if you ask me. The pool is very lacking, they don’t even offer a jacuzzi or any kind of hot tub for the cold. The gym is also very lacking and disappointing. There’s a path around the lake so I guess I can give them that though. Overall this hotel is lacking and I think staying at a zoo would’ve been much quieter and better! Oh but at least they offer free rides to the airport so I guess they got that going for them.

    We absolutely love this hotel and always enjoy our stays here. The customer service is exceptional from the moment you arrive, and the entire property is spotless and very well maintained. Every stay feels comfortable and welcoming. We especially want to recognize Steven. His positive energy truly stands out — he is always smiling, incredibly kind, and genuinely helpful. He checked on us throughout our stay, made sure we had everything we needed, and was always willing to go the extra mile without us even having to ask. Even on a tough day, he managed to make me smile, and that meant so much. Steven is professional, efficient, and clearly loves what he does. Team members like him make a huge difference, and he is a big reason we love coming back to this hotel. Thank you for such an amazing experience every time!
