The hotel is three miles from Brigham Young University, five miles from Utah Lake and sixteen miles from Sundance Ski Resort. Our hotel has convenient freeway access and is within minutes of any location in the Provo/Orem area. Dining options include six eating establishments within walking distance and many more within a two mile radius. A majority of the local corporations and technology companies are located within five miles of our hotel. The Hampton Inn & Suites Orem hotel is a four-story hotel with a French country look and feel around our stone fireplace in the lobby. The hotel features standard rooms, as well as suites with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms with fireplaces and rooms with whirlpool tubs. Many rooms/suites feature views of the majestic Rocky Mountains to the east or Utah Lake to the west. Standard room amenities include complimentary On the House hot breakfast, in-room coffee maker and television with cable. We also offer connecting rooms, baby cribs, exercise facility, in-room hair dryer, in-room iron with ironing board and indoor pool. Laundry/valet services, refrigerators for standard rooms, guest/laundromat, meeting/banquet facilities and audio/visual equipment are available for a nominal fee.     Price is higher than others. Rooms are SMALL! There is a smell of sewage or something in the hall. Unfriendly staff. Breakfast is not what you expect a Hampton to be. If I have a choice it's a Hamilton but not this one. Never again.

    I asked for a quiet room - it was not quiet - the walls/floors are cheaply made with no sound barrier. There was a dog barking, kids running around, someone stomping in the room above, moving furniture around and exercising until 2 a.m. then starting again at 6 a.m. ? - I got 4 hrs of sleep. Does this sound good to you? (the only thing good about it was the continental breakfast) - (bring ear plugs).

    Nice rooms, the suite was clean and spacious. Indoor pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Convenient location. We enjoyed the coffee/tea/cocoa bar they have available all day.

    I had booked a specific room several weeks in advance. Showed up to check in and they had oversold my room type. They claimed it was due to a new AI system. Any AI should be smart enough to know how many rooms of each type is available and to not sell more than the inventory allows. The individual working the front desk was kind and apologetic but obviously that was outside of his control. Management didn't answer his call when he tried reaching out to them. I was promised a call from a manager the following day but it's been two weeks now and I haven't heard a word from anyone. Normally only stay in Hilton properties but this one let me down.
