  I stayed at this property over Thanksgiving weekend and had an extremely disappointing experience. After driving through the night to get my son to a wrestling tournament I arrived around 10 a.m. fully expecting to pay a standard early check-in fee. The front desk agent, Kristen I believe - initially mentioned the fee which I completely understood and agreed to. However once she pulled up my reservation her entire demeanor shifted. She informed me that I would have to pay half of that day’s best available rate which was double my nightly corporate rate. I travel roughly 35 weeks a year and have never encountered a hotel charging 50% of BAR rather than 50% of the contracted rate. When I politely shared that she responded curtly that it was “policy” and that the Sales Manager/General Manager, Patricia Sellers, would not approve any exceptions. After driving all night and missing the holiday with my family, I did not have the energy to argue. I told her I would wait for the regular check-in time even though that meant not being able to rest before my son’s weigh-ins. Fortunately, Oklahoma has plenty of other places that prioritize guest service so I took my son out rather than sit in the lobby exhausted. When I returned at 1:30 p.m. prepared to wait in my car if needed. Kristen suddenly told me I could check in because “anything after 12:30 is fine.” So I would have been charged double my negotiated rate for checking in just two hours early? That feels unreasonable and frankly out of line with industry norms. This experience is exactly why I have started to choose Marriott and Hyatt where guests are valued and treated with consistency. Based on this stay I will be significantly reducing my Hilton stays moving forward.

  Very comfortable beds and pillows. Everything in the room was great, from the window shades, to climate control, to the many towel racks and hooks in the bathroom. They have a fitness center, a guest laundry, and a pool. Nice outdoor smoking area. Great breakfast.

  Anytime we spoke to the staff, the service was lovely. The room was nice, spacious, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. We stayed in two different rooms during our visit, both of which had the same issue: the shower door kept sliding open while we were showering and refused to stay closed. We finally decided to “lock” ourselves in by having the other person wedge a hand towel in the crack. Overall, it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience, but I don’t see how a single person could shower without great frustration or ending up with a soaking-wet floor. We loved the free, unlimited coffee available in the lobby — it tasted great, unlike most hotel coffee! The breakfast, however, needs major improvements. The meat options ran out almost daily and were not refilled for guests who arrived later. The seasoning on the food was also off, and overall it tasted very subpar, leading to entire plates sometimes going to waste. The waffles, juice, yogurt, and anything not prepared on-site were great, though.
