Drop-off area is very small and awkward. Staff were nice I must say. Also, if you end up in the room closest to the elevator, immediately request a different room, as the room's doorway is anything but sound proof, or the least bit quiet. Dead cockroach on the floor of our room's kitchen was not good, but, being dead it at least didn't make any noise, unlike the inconsiderate people coming out of the elevators (Saturday night was particularly loud, and we were out late too). Furniture looked like mid 20th century stuff (2 desks but no dresser). Breakfast was typical "free breakfast" grade stuff. The worst part was (and still is) the fact that they wrongly slapped a pet fee on us despite us checking in clearly with no pet and never had a pet in the room at all (the cockroaches don't count, as I'm sure they snuck in before we got there, since the one by the fridge looked dead). Upon checking out I objected to the errant pet fee and was told they'd take care of it. Spoiler alert: they didn't, and still haven't, despite at least two phone calls and voicemails left for "Victor" a "manager" of some sort who apparently doesn't know how to return calls from customers. The best part of our stay was, ironically, exiting the hotel each day to enjoy the river walk. We love S.A. but this hotel will not see us again.
Decent hotel with a great location. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
Parking can be very confusing and pricey. They offer valet parking at the time of check in. The charge is $50 per night. They do offer the option of decline valet and bring back your car.

All I can say is COCKROACHES!!!!!
Be careful, I stay at hotels all over the US for much of the year for work. I have done this for 23 years now. Never have I experienced such an arrogant and passive aggressive hotel manager as Victor R*amir*z at this property.
I showed him the video I took of the 3 inch cockroach nesting in my "clean" towels, and he told me, "I hope the hotel you are going to doesn't have cockroaches - you can leave now." I am always polite and professional, as anything less really doesn't help the travel process. Unfortunately, my company had paid for the entire expected 3 day stay, and Victor informed me with apparent pleasure that I would get no refund. I stayed there for less than an hour.
As someone who has small children at home, I cannot afford to risk their safety bringing home vermin or other dangerous elements in my luggage.
If the place looks good to you, ask yourself - is it worth coming home with an insect that can infest your home?
PS All the rooms at this Homewood Suites have a kitchen, you do the math.. AND they aren't really affiliated with Hilton, they just license the name to fool people into trusting a local franchise owner.
I could only post still photos here, but the video is a nightmare to behold for hotel guests.

If you’re looking for a place that truly feels like a home away from home, this hotel is it. The staff go above and beyond to make sure every guest is taken care of, especially if you’re staying for an extended period of time as I was here for 2 months. They pay attention to every detail, are always friendly, and make you feel like family.
The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped for long stays. You can tell they take pride in keeping everything top-notch. Whether it’s housekeeping, the front desk, or management — everyone here is dedicated to making sure you have what you need.
I couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re staying for a few days or a few months, this hotel will make sure you’re well taken care of every step of the way.
