The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room, even with our medium size dogs. There was plenty of areas to walk our dogs and the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was a buffet of Belgium Waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, Bagels, Chorizo tacos, and Cereal really plenty for everyone!

Probably an unusual way to begin a review, but it seems like every hotel I stay at has something that annoys me and takes some of the shine off the trip. Not so with this location of Homewood suites. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel in general was modern, nice and clean. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet had the usual fair, but the quality was excellent. I was disappointed that the waffle iron was around the corner and not near the breakfast buffet. I didn’t discover this until I was about to check out. So if you like waffles, look around the corner. They had happy hour Wednesday night with a complimentary finger foods, wine, and beer. What a nice touch that was! We stayed three nights, and the whole stay was enjoyable. Whenever I return to San Antonio, I will be staying here again for sure.
