This was a good find for a clean, nice hotel that’s reasonably priced along the river. The home2suites shares a building with the Hampton. There was a choice of snacks and waters upon check in with my Hilton status, which I appreciated. The only understandable negative is mandatory valet parking at $50 a night. The decor is very Texas, down to the waffle maker and I’m here for it 🤠

I canceled my reservation because I reserved a room with river view and I paid for a room that had river view so I paid extra and the room they gave me had no river in the view and when I told them she said you can cancel and I asked for a normal room and she said they didn’t have any rooms left

The location itself is good, but it's really loud at all hours of the night. I wasn't able to sleep past 4AM due the trash truck right outside my window every morning. Coffee was old and cold and the shower had zero adjustment... Off or burning hot. The customer service was mixed, initially the you man was great, but the 2 younger females not so much.

Beds were hard, bathroom door didn't stay close and didn't have any kind of lock on it. Digital key did not work in the elevator to get to the room to use the digital key. The weirdest part was this is a split Hampton inn and Home2 suites and the Home2 suites side makes you feel like second fiddle to the Hampton Inn side. This was most evident in the breakfast area . The breakfast side for Hampton inn was fully loaded, and the furniture was better. The Home2 suites side had older-looking furniture (style wise) and a very sparse breakfast. Now why couldn't they just join the two?! Overall was not impressed and will not recommend staying here. I'm scratching home2 suites off the future list as well.
