Every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. I last stayed at this location approximately 9 years ago. Th location is awesome, walking distance to almost everything. The room was clean, but the hallway and rooms had an off smell. Not horrible but definitely noticeable, to the point I had to use room spray everytime we re- entered the room. Also the shower curtain smelled like mildew. Nice hotel, just beware of the smell.

Hola!

The employees were very friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. This was a first time vacation for my grandson and me. I booked through Priceline and expected the rooms to be held to less standards, but after speaking with other guests, I paid the same or more. Anyway, the room was on 20th floor, end of the hall (2001), facing the street where construction was going on and the metal piece of the shower was not fastened. I did not know the fridge did not work and got my $50 food order to go because it had been a long day. Woke up the next morning and had to throw it all away. The employee brought another fridge immediately after I spoke to the front desk, but it still put me out. Good customer service would have been to take $50 off my room or give me a gift card for one of the nearby restaurants.

Visited during the holidays and stayed here with family. The location is fabulous and with the app I was able to secure parking for a nominal fee. Otherwise it's around $50, which is standard for hotels on the Riverwalk. We stayed on the highest floor and noise was not an issue at all. The Riverwalk view is gorgeous! It is nice they provide disposable earplugs, but they weren't needed. Unfortunately upon entry there was a strange smell and we had to move to a different room, this did not seem to be a big issue and we were taken care of quickly. The rooms were updated. They were not able to provide a late check out, but it may have been because The Alamo Bowl was that evening. Would recommend the location (5 stars), and it seemed pretty reasonable overall. I did not try any other amenities such as the gym, bar area or breakfast but the holiday decor was cute. There is a restaurant that is attached and food was pretty good when comparing it to other RW restaurants.

A total disappointment, brought my wife for a relaxing end of the year and New Year celebration but when we got here we had no heat while it’s the 40s outside. The room had a chemical smell and we were in a cold room for over 4 hrs. The maintenance man was extremely nice and we were relocated due to the smell. The manager didn’t once apologize and I was offered points or breakfast for our troubles. Not what I expected from supposedly the better hotels here in San Antonio. The location is what drove me to come here and while I have stayed at several hotels here, there was nothing special about this one. Not worth the almost 800 dollars for 2 nights. Update 12-31-2025. Went across the street to see fireworks, came back to the room and it smelled like sewer. I checked the toilet and it had no water in the p trap allowing the fumes to come into the room. My wife had to hold the balcony door open at 43 degrees outside and I opened the room door to allow airflow. I called services and Ernest answered but he couldn’t give me excuses because I understand plumbing. I explained how plumbing works and that’s why you have a p trap under the sink. Not to mention the room didn’t have shampoo and the refrigerator was cooling. I ended up regretting complaining because I ended up with an old beat up one on the counter next to the TV. He offered to move us again but at 2 rooms for 2 nights I didn’t see this getting better.
