This may be my go to hotel. I love how neat it was and the room was nice especially the Jacuzzi tub. Things to improve on... Concierge should always recognize gold and diamond members without being prompted. And be ready with perks to hand out. Also always inform guest if ice machines or other services are out or unavailable. Inform guest of when breakfast starts and ends Change hydration station regularly at least 3 times per day. Staff is friendly but just needs fine tuning. If the hotel is able to get a lunch and dinner menu going , that will be a big plus. Also bar area. I still loved it and I will return.

Writing this after talking to the manager almost two weeks. Manager is Dhami S/ Shelby. Worst Hilton manager I’ve ever come across. Doesn’t care about guests and making issues right. They tell me they are authorized to handle Hilton complaints and resolve problems but directed me to speak with corporate Hilton. What’s the point in saying I can handle issues but then they don’t? I contacted this hotel PRIOR to booking and asked could my frozen dogs food be stored in their freezer. I was traveling from Florida relocating to California. They eat Farmer Dog so it must be frozen. They agreed to accommodate. When I checked out their food was thawed. I paid the pet fees so they knew the dogs were there. The manager dhami could have offered a comp night through points or something. All they said was it was a courtesy we were trying to help you. Help me? Courtesy? They could have said no, I could have found a different hotel so no it was not a courtesy when I’m paying dog fees. My dogs also got sick after eating it because it I guess spoiled. Again manager did not care. Told me to report to Hilton guest services which I will do also. Hotel is outdated and breakfast also sucks. For the cost, just stay at a better Hilton.

A surprisingly cozy find! The colonial-era inspired interior and impressive lobby give this hotel a unique, upscale charm. After a long day of driving on I-10, the in-room jacuzzi was the perfect way to relax. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea. Pro tip: Don’t skip their unique caramel brownies—they are delicious and refreshing! Highly recommended for a comfortable and friendly stay near the airport.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Hilton property I have stayed at and did not meet the standards I have consistently experienced with other Hilton hotels. Due to this experience, I will not be including this property on our company’s approved hotel list for San Antonio. I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and encountered several issues during my stay. The hotel has no restaurant or bar open even though there’s signs posted of having one. Both the ice machine and vending machines on all floors of hotel were out of service. Additionally, one of the two elevators in this four-story hotel was also out of service. Breakfast in the morning was made to order by one individual who only prepared scrambled eggs. I was charged $17 for eggs, sausage, and potatoes, which felt excessive given the quality and presentation. Beverage options were limited to apple juice and water, and the apple juice dispenser barely functioned. All utensils provided were plastic, which was disappointing considering the price. During a business stay, convenience is important, and this hotel lacks nearby dining options within walking distance. My room faced the back of the property, overlooking an area with cut trees and little to no visual appeal. Overall, this was the most disappointing hotel experience I have had while traveling. The only positive aspect of the property is its close proximity to the airport. I would not recommend this hotel for business travel or family vacations.
