    Attn: Hampton Inn Management It is a very very scary situation for my wife at Hampton Inn today at 4:15am, 11/9. Someone was banging the door continuously and trying to open by force. Inspite, of mentioning the room is occupied, the banging continued and the person was trying to forcibly open. She had to call 911 for help and they provided the front desk contact. The banging stopped when she was in call with 911. The incident lasted for 10~15mins (4:15am to 4:27pm). The front desk person was Robert and he had someone to check out. She called me and I stayed online with her. I really hope the management will investigate further into this and verify the CCTV footage. The manager was not reachable and no further action could be taken at this point. It was a mental trauma and scary. Never had a situation like this in any of the property we used to stay during a business or pleasure trips earlier.

    Arrived for scientific conference. Checked bed and sheets had blood and were dirty. Went downstairs to ask for another room was told the rooms were sold out, understandable, so I asked for someone to come change the sheets at least. Was told no one was working at all the whole weekend to clean anything and I could put clean sheets on myself. Next day 15 ants appeared in the room/picture showing ants on ceiling in bathroom. Lastly, when I came back on the last night of my stay a spider was on my pillow-probably came because of the ants. Really expensive stay for a dirty room and inattentive staff. I travel for work and exclusively seek out Hiltons, after this Marriott seems like a better option.

    I had booked a 5-night stay through a travel agency. However, when I checked in, the front desk told me that due to overbooking, I could stay only for one night. The staff spoke as if it were the travel agency’s fault, which I found extremely dishonest and unacceptable. After a long international flight, I was exhausted, yet I had to find another hotel on my own. I strongly felt that I was treated with disrespect—possibly because I am an Asian guest who doesn’t speak fluent English. I have never experienced such unprofessional and unfair treatment at a hotel before. I am deeply disappointed and would not recommend this place to any international traveler. Update: There was no direct apology or explanation about why this happened. I also felt that their attitude was like, “We apologized, so that’s enough,” which was very disrespectful. It was extremely disappointing and showed a lack of sincerity.
