The bathroom vents were rusting pretty significantly. The bathtub had issues with rust and loose fixtures as well. I would lose water pressure every time I showered off and on, that may be contributed to the usage throughout the building.
The sliding door to the patio was broken and extremely hard to open and close to where my children had zero chance on going in and out without assistance. It wouldn’t shut all the way and it appeared that maintenance had tried to stick additional gasket material to make up for the door not sealing…didn’t work and you could hear the wind pushing through when it was windy.
I called and asked for extra towels 3 times and was never given any. We had 4 guests and they only give you 3 full size towels in the bathroom. I even went to a room service employee and asked for additional towels and she said she didn’t have any.
The valet was crazy…we had to wait around 10-20 minutes each time to get our car. To me that was a bit excessive.
They seemed to be understaffed at the valet side of things.
I should’ve taken more pictures…we have stayed at this place 2 times now but unfortunately we will not stay a 3rd.

The location is very good and convenient. The room itself was really nice once we checked in. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the location or room. The gentleman at the front desk during check-in was rude and not friendly at all. Later, when I realized I needed more shower gel, I asked a housekeeper, but she refused to give me any. I then called the front desk, and it took a very long time and three phone calls before it was finally brought to the room. Overall, the stay could have been much better with improved customer service.

Overall a pretty great experience. The rooms were amazing, and the staff was incredible. Ate at the "Range" for lunch inside the hotel. The food was a little disappointing. We had this red headed bartender and she was incredible. I hope she forgives me for bot remembering her name. Give this place a stay. Im not paid, but I will say being a Hilton honors member is pretty dope. The Spurs game got switched one day a week before and they made sure to take care of me.

After staying at the Embassy Suites in Denton I decided to stay at the one in San Antonio expecting a similar experience.
I couldn’t possibly be more disappointed.
I did request a pet friendly room but I was not prepared for the room that I was given.
We noticed a terrible odor the minute we entered the room.
I was promised a river view and from our window we could see a very small area of water. The view was terrible.
Beds were poorly made, the sofa bed felt like there were springs coming through the mattress, there was a thick layer of dust on the ice bucket and coffee maker, the walls were in terrible condition with paint chipped up and down every corner, there was chipping in the tub and rust on the faucets, the carpets were dirty and smelled terrible.
We had to ask for toilet paper due to our room only having less than half a roll.
The volume wouldn’t turn up or down on the TV.
The mini fridge was barely cool.
I didn’t take time to express my concerns with the front desk because I had planned an overnight staycation with my young adult children and since we rarely get time like this I refused to spend it complaining at a hotel.
Prior to arriving in San Antonio I had promised my family that they were going to love the hotel we would be staying at but quickly regretted telling them that and immediately apologized for the condition of the room.
I will never stay at this hotel again and highly advise anyone needing a hotel to explore other options.
