On Thanksgiving weekend in freezing 30 degree weather , I drove 5 hours to this town for an event. I arrived at 2:30pm and they wouldn’t let me check in. Finally at the check in time of 3;00pm, I asked to check into my king bedroom, then the nightmare started. The person I was speaking with went over to someone else at the front desk and they were whispering to each other in front of the computer. She comes back to where I am waiting after 10 minutes and says “your king room is not available, we will give your a queen bedroom with 2 beds. I was so tired, didn’t complain after all the delay, just wanted to rest a bit before my event in the evening. So at 7pm I applied my makeup, got dressed and headed out. I came back at 10pm, super tired after a long day and was looking forward to a hot, refreshing and relaxing shower. I turned on the shower, it was ice cold, I figure it’s because it’s especially cold, it’ll warm up in a few minutes, so I let it run. 3 minutes later it’s still cold, 5 minutes: cold and 10 minutes, still ice cold. So I call the front desk and tell the lady that my room doesn’t have hot water. Her attitude was like “how’s that even my problem”. Without apologies she just said “well we can move you to another room, but you’ll have to come downstairs with your card before it can be done. I told her there’s no point checking into another room, I was there for just one night, if the hot water can b fixed ……. Before I could finish speaking, she shouted: “there’s no one to fix it today” then she hung up the phone. From the onset, this woman was very rude and hostile, she gave me a defective room on purpose. The woman at the front desk on November 29, between 10:30pn and 11:00pm has no business working in a Hotel. She too hostile, rude and doesn’t smile. I paid $158 for one night at this terrible hotel and I couldn’t even have a shower because the water was Ice cold. I didn’t sleep well either because I done sleep well if I don’t have a shower at night. I wish I could give this hotel 0 stars, don’t go to this hotel, don’t waste your money, you won’t get any hot water for a shower, no breakfast either, you’ll be charged extra dollars for that. Don’t go to this place, I’m never ever going back there.
