All the hidden fees are like a Vegas Resort with Circus Circus rooms. Which have roaches, dirty towels and not a single light that can show you 3 feet in front of you. There is a bar, but the only shining light is Greg who is HILARIOUS he is far too talented to be working at such a shady establishment. Not to mention the front desk manager Alex I believe her name was, is completely rude and seams to hate her job.

Nevertheless, my room had roaches in it (found in bathroom, on headboard and on my luggage) and even the second room I was moved into also had remnants of dead roaches as well. The best thing about this hotel was the shuttle service they provide to the Riverwalk and the guys who drove the shuttles were extremely friendly and helpful. The young lady at the front desk Allison, who helped me with my situation (after I reported it to a gentleman who never got back to me) regarding my room was absolutely wonderful. Everyone else that worked at the front desk seemed to hate their job. If you don’t like people, you shouldn’t be in hospitality nor Customerservice. That’s just my two cents. If I could hire Allison I definitely would because she handled me and my concerns with such grace, professionalism and with a sense of urgency. I have service a 4/5 solely because of her. I unfortunately won’t be returning. I couldn’t bear to stay the three nights I had originally booked so left after night one. I end up staying up the entire night out of fear that a roach was going to crawl on my bed, etc.. This was such a horrible experience for someone with bug phobia… what a way to spend my weekend getaway.
