  We really enjoyed our stay. The receptionist were welcoming. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The breakfast bar was clean and very organized. Thanks Katherine for keeping the area clean and well stocked. You are doing an amazing job. Definitely will stay there again.

  This is a great hotel option while visiting Port A. It's very quiet and clean. The breakfast is very good and plenty of options to chose from. My daughter and I have come here twice in the last year for a girl's weekend getaway and both times we felt very safe and the stay was very relaxing too. The only downside is that you can not order a golf cart as it's in an area where golf carts are not allowed.

  Clean rooms. Polite staff. And excellent breakfast included! Also pet friendly. Not on the water, the way Port Aransas, mustang Island, and North Padre Island are with the rules and regulations to build any closer than 300 yd from the water. There are a limited number of high-rise condos. The price jumps dramatically, and the rest is all opened and undeveloped due to regulations. So this is a good compromise for the price!

  Room was great. Breakfast exactly like you expect. We have a service dog and unfortunately since the dog area was a sticker patch, our pup was unable to use their facility. We had to drive our dog to the dog park for her to have a place to go. Yes shes a princess lol but who wants to walk in a sticker patch to pee?

  Overall, this property does not positively represent the Hilton brand. While any one thing – other than the moldy/dirty shower – was not that significant, the total of all the ‘little things’ left an overall negative impression. 1. Chip reader on credit card machine at front desk not working. 2. Key machine at front desk not working (agent had to go to back room to make keys). 3. Overall, during my two-night stay, the staff seemed to be ‘just there for a job’, not engaging, not welcoming. At no time was I asked how everything was with my room / stay. 4. Front desk staff were typically sitting down in the office area behind the desk, with the door open, exposing a very disorganized / cluttered area to guest view. 5. Never saw the breakfast attendant. Breakfast was standard brand offering. 6. Chairs in breakfast area damaged. 7. Brand sign on building not fully working. 8. Elevator sign damaged. 9. Handle on the beverage cooler in sundry/snack shop broken-missing; metal edges exposed. 10. Frozen food freezer in sundry/snack shop empty and lights off. 11. The room air condition worked great – very cold! 12. The wifi worked great. Room 415 1. Entry tiles broken/loose. 2. Shower moldy! 3. Shower door tracks dirty / moldy! 4. Bathroom exhaust fan not working (draw type fan). 5. Top of bathroom hook rack dirty. 6. Room walls dirty. 7. Right bedside light only partially illuminates.
