I have to be back to work in 6 hours and this will severely effect my sleep schedule. This is unacceptable and should never happen.

We had to cancel due to the threat of severe weather that was on the news, threatening flooding, hail, and the possibility of tornadoes. We opted not to travel into potentially life-threatening conditions and requested a cancellation for that reason alone. This was not something we wanted to do; we missed a family member's wedding--a family member who was at our wedding! We ONLY cancelled because of the threat of severe weather. We tried calling multiple times to explain the situation and no one picked up the phone. We understand that a charge for cancellation is to be expected under normal circumstances, but they didn't even contact us and chose to communicate that money is more important than the safety of their potential customers. This an example of moral depravity and corporate greed. Forget about staying here ever; my wife has family in the Dallas area and we intended to make a trip later since we'll sadly be missing the wedding. Guess where we won't be booking! No communication, no empathy, no care for safety. Shame on you!
