You can tell remodeling was recent. Nice clean rooms. Good location near the highway and near stores. Breakfast staff was really friendly and helpful A++ to them. Some of the Front desks agents were nice, but lady working the night of 12.20 was not very nice or helpful when asking about amenities and breakfast inquiries. Regarding breakfast, I paid for the breakfast buffet which was OKAY - eggs were cold, not many options but solid enough. I would recommend that you skip breakfast here and just buy something nearby.

Do NOT book here! I had mold in our room and requested a refund as we were not going to stay at the hotel another night. They refused to give me a refund. Stay away!

I’ve stayed here several times but this past week I realized it had been a couple years. Wasn’t sure what to expect as sometimes staff turns over. But I encountered classic Texas hospitality and friendliness. Clean rooms. Generous portions at breakfast. The room rate was also reasonable. I wish the HGI brand would go back to either a free breakfast or points, instead of this $10 F&B credit. But that’s not in their control at the location.
