The hotel is still being remodeled. There is no sitting area for breakfast, so you have to take it to your room. The room that we got(1st floor by my request), didn’t have black out curtains and the regular curtains were not installed on a rod/rail, it looked like they were just stuck to the wall. There was no paper holder, just the roll sitting on the shelf. Also, there wasn’t a regular armchair, instead you get a chair like in the pic. Finally, the linens in one of the bed although clean, had a lot of wear. The water pressure was pretty good. There is a EV charging station on the property, but it is not complementary. Once they are done with the remodels , it will be very nice, but until then be prepared for the above. Also, not an issue from the hotel, but my EV car navigation was taking me a couple of miles further north. I’m glad I had Google Maps on too otherwise I would have missed it.

Hotel is being remodeled we were told, but the rooms are completed with only the lobby area unfinished. OK. Some of the lighting fixtures in the ADA compliant rooms don't work. The bathroom has no toilet paper holder so rolls are placed on the tank lid. Also no towel bars to be found. There is no chair in the shower and no grab bars anywhere in the bathroom. In the morning we found that the shower drain is plugged and floods the bathroom. Just wonderful. Must be the renovations were not inspected.

We checked in and checked out within an hour. The sign saying “Pardon our dust” felt like a joke. Construction debris was everywhere throughout the property. We followed a painted path on the carpet to reach our room, which alone should have been a warning. Inside the hotel and our room, there were exposed wires, non functioning light switches, visible dirt in the bathroom, and loose screws on the floor—an extreme safety concern, especially traveling with my children who could easily put them in their mouths. The environment felt unsafe and unfinished. The construction work itself was very poorly done. Curtains were hung with visible nails, the breakfast area was covered in debris, paint was splattered on the brand-new (and already crooked) carpet, and the newly installed tile was scratched and marked with plaster footprints. This hotel should not be open to guests during renovations. While the property does seem to have great potential once the work is properly completed, the current conditions are unacceptable and unsafe. We were offered to move to a different room as the renovations have been completed on other parts of the hotel. However, this was traumatizing. We went to Hampton Inn for the night. That was very clean and newly renovated.

12/03/2025 hotel is under major construction and the lower floor is a complete mess. I was told construction would stop at 6pm but it was not. Little disappointing no one mentioned it when I made the reservation. No room discount or IHG extra points for the inconvenience as of this post.

Checked in the last week of august with Taylor who was very kind and gracious towards me even when I was exhausted from Tavel. She made me feel welcomed. Then 2 weeks later I had left my briefcases, and Taylor was again able to locate and find it for me after a brief description. She even brought it up to my room for me. I highly recommend staying here, with the wonderful staff who definitely needs a raise!
