The good: Our king room was fresh and clean. The huge glassed in shower was a plus, as were the refrigerator, microwave, toaster and dishwasher.
The meh: Unless you're a heavy sleeper, avoid the first and second floor rooms near the exterior doors. We'd had an early flight and were in bed by 9:30 pm. Between 10:30 and midnight the exterior door next to our room must have performed it's window rattling, metal on metal slam (BAM!) at least 20 times. After 5-6 times, we called the front desk to ask for help. They offered to move us, but now it was almost 11 pm and we were unpacked and worn out. To add insult to injury, this hotel is cash free and requires use of a debit/credit card to make a $2.50 purchase.

Although it is advertised as having one, there is NO GYM at this hotel. The front desk said that I should have known because it is stated as not having a gym on their website. This is not correct. The website clearly states that the hotel includes a fitness center. If you want to get a little workout in during your stay, do not stay here.
For $300-400 per night, you should have something more than just TV through an antenna. You will not be able to select Netflix or easily access desired channels because there is not guide. You have to flip through the channels, which are only available though an antenna.
Lastly, it is advertised, but charging $7.00 for parking is crazy. They offer no security or any other parking service, but you will be charged $7.00 for parking. I guess they are not making enough money, even with their lack of a gym and offering of subpar TV. I hope that $7.00 allows them to keep the lights on at his place.

The Homewood Suites in Midland was an absolute gem. Its prime location made it an ideal base for my business trip. Situated conveniently near HEB, Sam’s Club, and a fantastic local cafe, it provided everything I needed for a successful trip. The friendly and attentive team members at Homewood went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay during a business trip.

Stayed 10/16/25. Website said the hotel is being renovated and the fitness center would be closed. Fine. I planned to swim and my husband planned to watch the MLB championship game. BUT...we get checked in only to find that the pool/hot tub are also closed, and the room has no cable TV.

Under remodeling so there are some inconveniences. The parking lot is tiny and this is one of the only hotels in the area which charges for parking.
Other hotels are a better value without the nickle and diming or inconveniences.
