  So it's a nice clean hotel overall. We were thrilled at how quiet it was until the herd of elephants checked into room 417 (at 11:15 pm on 11/21/2025). The pounding on the walls and through the floor was noticeable through even the AC, shower and dishwasher. On that note, there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher when we arrived and only in the shower did I find out that the conditioner bottle was completely empty. Down pillows were left in the room despite our request when booking for no down pillows (allergic). So we did call for a regular pillow to be brought up even though she said most of the pillows were down. (?) We also ended up packing up early to check out ASAP due to the continued child screaming and pounding from next door. The top floor on any hotel should not be for small children or pets. How about banning inconsiderate jerks from the hotel chain? It was however pretty quiet minus that.

  All the reviews were right - this is a wonderful place. The staff is so nice - the exercise equipment all worked - there was hot water and coffee and apples too. I taught a class from my room online and the internet was fine. There’s a stripes convenience store and Dutch Bros nearby too. I walked from downtown and it took 75 minutes. Just watch for traffic. The Room was pretty expensive but we were all safe and it is a wonderful place. Thanks everyone.

  Home2 Suites by Hilton Midland East – waar luxe en country elkaar een hand gaven. Els liep de lobby in, zag het logo en fluisterde: ‘Paris Hilton vibes, maar dan met Waylon op de achtergrond.’ Harm knikte, streek zijn leren jas glad van de etsy shop Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers, en zei: ‘Meer Johnny Cash dan Paris Hilton, maar ik voel je punt.’ De kamer rook naar airco en verse lakens, er klonk een zacht gezoem van de highway buiten, en ergens op de achtergrond draaide Ring of Fire. Ze zaten even stil op het bed, keken elkaar aan en wisten – dit is zo’n plek waar je een roadtriplied schrijft of gewoon even niets zegt. 🎸🏨 Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers – van Texas motels tot neonlobby’s, altijd onderweg maar nooit verdwaald.

  We had booked our stay at the Catalina Drive location but accidentally came to this branch instead. Once we realized the mistake, Jordan kindly explained it to us and made sure we were okay while we waited for our family to pick us up. Even though we weren’t staying at this hotel, she welcomed us to wait in the lobby, offered us coffee and tea, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Her kindness, warmth, and professionalism truly stood out. Honestly, the way Jordan treated us made us want to cancel our original reservation and stay here instead. Unfortunately, it was too late to change since our booking was nonrefundable. But without a doubt, next time we’re in Midland, this will be our first choice just because of Jordan. She turned a simple situation into such a pleasant experience and made the hotel feel like a 7-star place through her attitude and genuine care. Jordan is truly an amazing person and a great representative of this hotel and an asset. God bless her always!
