Wife and I stayed 11-13-25 on our trip south while moving from NW Arkansas to the Rio Grande Valley. She made the reservation while we were eating dinner 8 miles up the road at Moe's Southwest Grill. I have to say the King Studio we had was the nicest motel room we have ever had. The bed was comfortable, the couch was firm, the bathroom was spacious. If we had to spend much time in a hotel room, this is what I would want. The only two negatives I saw was the shower door wouldnt stay closed, so water ended up on the floor, and the chair at the desk was hard to roll. The back could have been higher as well, but that is a personal preference. At breakfast this morning, there was oatmeal, cheese omelets, egg white frittatas, chicken sausage patties, waffles, hard boiled eggs, 4 kinds of juice, several condiments and of course, coffee. I am sure I have forgotten something, as there was so much to see. I worked for a Hampton Inn in the mid 80s, when there were fewer than 100 hotels in the chain, and they were owned by Holiday Corp. I have to say, Hilton has made some nice changes since the takeover.
