My stay at Spark by Hilton – North Longview was completely unacceptable.
We were given a room with no heat, which is already a major issue. On top of that, we were charged a pet fee despite not having any pets. When we questioned it, we were then told we were being charged a cleaning fee for “poop on the floor.”
To be very clear: we do not have pets, and no one “pooped on the floor.” The fact that staff first blamed a nonexistent pet and then escalated to accusing us of something so absurd and offensive is beyond unprofessional—it’s insulting.
This situation feels careless at best and dishonest at worst. Being falsely accused and charged for something that never happened is unacceptable, especially from a Hilton-branded property. I expected basic accountability and professionalism and received neither.
I would strongly caution others before booking here and will be escalating this matter further.

The first front desk person was nice but didn’t offer any of the things Hilton said was offered for Diamond members and didn’t say the time for breakfast. First room shower didn’t work so they did help us get another room. Overall not terrible but there was a weird smell and the morning desk person was weird about late checkout. A simple yes or no works fine.

Currently staying here and wouldn’t recommend. Lady at the front desk was great helping to get into another after the first had a strong scent of dog and urine. Rooms don’t have basics such as coffee maker, conditioner, etc. Beds are ok. The air conditioner also doesn’t work well so expect to be hot.

Our interaction with the front desk staff was professional and inviting. The wheelchair accessible room was on the fourth floor a longer walk from the elevator than expected. I would have benefited from having grab bars in the restroom as well as a walk in shower. We made it work. Upon checkout I was alerting my family I wanted some apple juice as I wheeled out with my walker a few steps behind them. They didn’t hear me , but the desk agent heard me. She not only heard me but proceeded to bring the juice to the car for me! An example of excellent customer service. She heard my request and stepped in with a smile. I will stay at this location again because of her kindness and proactive attention to detail.
