Two front desk host— the African American woman with red hair and the blonde young lady were very hospitable despite all the issues we encountered during our stay. Their service and our interactions were quite pleasant. However , the rooms were not well cleaned and were a bit dated . Our toilet and sink had fluids at the bottom . There was hair in our showers, holes in some of the washcloths, and stains on our bed sheets . Upon arrival our check in was delayed 2 hours due to their cleaning staff not having cleared out the room from those checked out that morning , we had booked weeks in advance yet were added to a growing waiting list of dozens of other guests who were in town for a local conference . We arrived hoping to take a nap after landing for our trip but instead were left to lean on a counter for over an hour due to the amount of people in the waiting room. Their response was to give us free water bottles and two snacks . I would not recommend this hotel if you prioritize comfortability. The pictures are from after we asked them to clean the room, which they also didn’t remake the bed throughout our 4 day stay without being reminded. Absolutely disgusting .

I want to start by saying we have stayed at the Spark in Destin, FL and had an excellent experience which is why we decided to stay here for my work trip to DFW. The Gentleman that worked the counter that night was very kind, apologetic and accommodating. This is not a review on him. Upon checking in after a 5 hour drive and going to our room, my wife noticed that the bed only had a comforter and top sheet. There was no fitted sheet on the bed. She went to the front desk and ask for a fitted sheet and proceeded to make our bed. She was offered by the front desk to be moved to another room. She accepted and began moving our luggage to another room. She then inspected that room to find it very dirty, faucet detached from the wall in the shower, a pubic hair on the soap dish, and a roach on the wall. My wife, shortly after, developed an itchy skin rash that quickly climbed up her arm, chest and neck which we assume was from contact with the linens. This only subsided after a long hot shower at another hotel and a double dose of Benadryl. We then decided to check out and make a reservation elsewhere. We were quite pleased by the state of the rooms there. Was also another Hilton Property. However, we have still not been refunded by this Spark hotel, HILTON HOTELS, or HOTELS.COM. Nor have we heard anything from them about the situation. Maybe this will get their attention. #hiltonhotels #cockroach #sparkhotel #pubichair ***UPDATE***** Offered me 5000 hilton rewards points for my "inconvenience but have yet to refund my stay. That's basically $25 opposed to the $100 we paid for Spark and also the $170 we paid to stay in the Embassy suites(same company) we tried to be fair by using the same company. My mistake. Keep your 5000 honors points. I want my money back. That's all. No other compensation necessary. Just the $100 we spent for a room we didn't stay in. I think that's more than fair.

Hilton should be embarrassed to have this property in their portfolio. It is just gross and definitely did not meet the expectation you have when you stay at a property with the Hilton name. All they did was slap some new paint on everything while leaving the marijuana smell, cigarette smell, and old beat up, barely working fixtures in the rooms. I didn’t realize Hilton was in the Motel 6 business, but apparently they are. Edit: I did stay at this property and I’m a lifetime diamond. As you’re fraudulently, claiming this is a fake review, I will also provide my feedback to Diamond customer service. This property should not be considered “Hilton”.

Decent price. Great service from front desk staff, especially if you are Hilton Honors member. Free breakfast is disappointing, muffins, bagels and cereal. Looks like you could buy breakfast sandwiches if you wanted. Good bed. No desk chair for the desk, but there was some kind of ottoman thing to use. Cute bathroom setup, but had duct tape on shower head and tub was a little small. Google found the location, but seems tough to find tucked away behind an IHOP.
