My family and I really enjoyed this hotel. The entire building is clean, the furniture looks new, the carpet looks new, the colors are bright and we enjoyed our stay. They have TVs in the main lobby, foos ball tables, and plenty of space to chill. The staff was super friendly, very helpful, and seemed to enjoy their work. Plenty of parking on-site as well.
They have two areas for breakfast in the morning with plenty of seating and a machine that automatically made the pancakes for you. The food, utensils, and all of the condiments were well stocked.
The only complaint is they only have two elevators that are kinda slow. Not a big deal normally, but in the morning, there were lines to go up, and the elevators were full trying to go down, so we had to wait for another elevator twice. But with a little patience; it all worked out.
Highly recommended. We will be staying here again the next time we come down to Galveston.
Got charged full amount for room that I never used , reservation cancelled same day “ no fee” through booking.com and true Hilton management kept saying I double booked witch is impossible because there isn’t trail in booking, com ,
Manager Jasica wouldn’t even talk to me about this, front desk lady I guess her name was Alexandra was trying to get solution for this issue but simply couldn’t get anywhere, I lost $470.00 and just be aware that this looks and smells like a scam!!!! Most important here to move forward is to accept reality and with AI in place in Hiltons “ customer service “ it’s simply impossible to get anything done because AI can manage only very basic conversations, POINTLESS

Well, it's not a quiet hotel. Nor is it particularly well-equipped. The rooms are comfortable enough, but you will hear every footsteps above you and every bit of traffic, if you're facing the beach. The lobby has tons of lounge space, so it's a good place to do a video call or get some work done. It's a decent value for your dollar.

Location is the Best part of this hotel, bring a good pillow - theirs provide very poor support (you sink it Flat), service could be better if they were not rushing you to check out and walk into your room while taking a shower to check if you're gone yet! Bfast is just average continental. Again this is about Location - You are a 1 minute walk from Beach!!

OMG...what a nightmare. My wife, our family pet (recovering from cancer surgery), and I came to Galveston to celebrate my 68th birthday. It was supposed to be a special weekend, especially since my wife had never been to Galveston before. Instead, it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had.
On Saturday morning, Nov 22, 2025, after breakfast, we came back to find ourselves locked out of our room because of a faulty door lock. Maintenance came to "fix" it, but later that afternoon the same thing happened again - this time we were stuck in the hallway even longer. I asked the manager, Haley, to move us to another room, but she flat-out refused. Later that evening, when we tried to go out for dinner, the lock failed yet again. The front desk told us the maintenance person was gone for the day and wouldn't be back until 7:00 am the next day. We had to cancel our dinner plans and spend the night worrying about whether we'd even be able to get back into our room.
I contacted Hilton's corporate office, and they at least apologized and offered to refund Saturday's fees. The local manager, however, only offered $20 off parking - which felt insulting given the stress and inconvenience. No one at the hotel ever apologized to us directly. The only positive thing I can say is that the location is great, right on Seawall Boulevard. But honestly, that's not enough to make up for the poor management and lack of care.
I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. Problems like this don't happen in isolation-they reflect management and how seriously (or not) corporate addresses ongoing issues. If Hilton truly fixed the problems mentioned in other reviews, why did this happen to us? Below is what Hilton says. They are just words on paper. They truly do not care for their guests.
This is Hilton's pledge and promise to guests:
Hilton's pledge to guests centers on "The Hilton Promise": to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering exceptional experiences, integrity, quality, comfort, and creating heartfelt moments for every guest, every time, supported by their values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership and Now (HILTON). This translates to making guests feel valued and respected, ensuring comfort (like clean rooms), and resolving issues promptly with their "Make It Right" motto, plus modern touches like text requests.
In essence, Hilton's pledge promises a consistent, hospitable, and reliable experience, focusing on guest satisfaction through both traditional service standards and contemporary conveniences.
