Found the lowest quality Hilton branded hotel. Tub had long hair yet I'm bald. Both mirrors were dirty that a wet towel wipe withOUT any effort cleaned it. HVAC vents not cleaned. Every light fixture has animals inside so guessing game on what it could be when ya look up in ceiling. AC Outlets are scarce. Not even a microwave or basic clock in room. Lobby may look decent, but they definitely ran out of money regarding room decor, housekeeping, and breakfast selection. Not worth staying again. Would give NEGATIVE stars if had option.

It was a nice stay. Close to the beach and attractions. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Having breakfast in the lobby was great.

Upon arriving, the entrance has few parking spots and you are directed to the back of the building where it’s a little confusing how to get back to the entrance (you almost have to walk back up to the front unless you’ve got a key). Not to mention, the back isn’t well lit and we initially thought we took a wrong turn somewhere. Being so close to the beach was amazing, and we had rooms with a sliver of a view which was nice. The hotel was upgraded at some point, but still has some “older” charm if you will. But it was decently okay. Our door struggled to open, even with a key, and the back door was almost stuck shut. The hallways are a little confusing and I think they’d do better with a bit more obvious signs to help navigate. Breakfast is cold continental. If you’re expecting a 5 star, triple rated breakfast, this is not the place to go. Cereal, muffins, bagels, toast are all offered with coffee. There is a yogurt machine- but it appeared to be empty when we attempted to use it. Staff was super polite and kind, and even told me to stop cleaning the floor after my child, as they would take care of that for me. All in all- for a one night stay- it was decent. It’s a good option if you’re in a bind and need a place to lay your head down. If you’re planning long-term, you may find better options for a cheaper price.

I came with 3 different parties. This hotel is nasty, I thought this was a Hilton with their clean reputation but on the contrary. Cockroaches 🪳in the lobby, rooms. The restroom lobby very dirty with fecal matter on the floor. The rooms weren’t swept, the sheets had blood. This was worst than a motel 6.

The best feature of the hotel is the staff. It appears to be a family affair. The older woman and man are delightfully helpful and charming. (Frankly they are the only reason we didn't cancel our 2 day stay before cruising). The younger attendants at the desk were meh. Typical, sour, millennial vibes. The hotel is dated. Bathroom fixtures are very old. Room furniture is ok - very simple. One STEEL chair (no cushions) at the desk. No dressers or drawers... Just an open 2x2 shelving system to store your clothes. No table space. The closet is awful: very narrow, no hangers, peeling paint. All the doors are wood and need to be rehung because they don't close properly without you lifting, shoving, and slamming them into place. The bed is firm yet comfortable. There is a working mini fridge but no microwave. There is a BUNCH of un-utilized space in the rooms which makes the room feel more like a dormatory than a Hilton property room. The location is ok as it is on Seawall Blvd which is Galveston's main road by the Gulf. However the hotel is built at a 90 degree angle to the Gulf and is behind a liquor store, so none of the rooms overlook the Gulf. You either see a truck yard on one side or part of the parking lot on the other. The walls are VERY thin as we heard most conversations and walking constantly in the rooms above and around us. Continental breakfast - no thrills and nothing hot other than a toasted bagel. We changed our reservation from a similarly categorized Marriott Property on Seawall that was almost $700 for two nights. We won't complain much about this property because it was cost half as much as our originally planned hotel and was at minimum clean.
