Batteries on my door lock died twice. AC didn't work. Shower knob fell off in my son's hand while talking a shower. Wait staff ignored us for two hours before they took our orders at the hotel restaurant. At one point a waiter asked me if I needed help. I responded "we, haven't been helped yet" and the waiter just said okay and walked off. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but I had a few other miscommunications over the two nights we were there. We spent $300 a night on a top floor room overlooking the beach. The room was elegant and meticulously clean. Big bay windows, that didn't open, so no ventilation with outside. So when we came back to the room in the evening, the sun had warmed up the room quite a bit and there was no way to cool it off, since the AC didn't work. Heater worked just fine. It's a great hotel with great rooms and terrible service... It's a real shame too. Just a bit better service would have made our vacation there absolutely amazing. I only got pics of the view from our room. It was an amazing view.

Heater was not working and Thier change it around 10.30 pm for 1 hour . After work didn’t clean the debris . Hairdryer was not working and they didnt give other one even after 1 hr of reporting it. Help desk complain landed in taking off $50. To surprise Thier added charges to my card which had given for deposit rather than Amex card. Called front desk and it was always ask to hold that too for more than 40 mins Worst service for the price

Rooms are small , windows not insulated, wouldn’t recommend this place in summer due to cheap outdated AC unit below the window ( noisy and incapable to keep decent room temperature), Wasn’t aware that parking in this hotel cost you extra $22.00 a day, ( scam , should be posted visible not hidden in policy) Shower very small actually unsafe to use, sliding doors installed backwards so you can’t get in and out properly!!! No safety handles wall mounted?? Safety hazard ⚠️ Couple things noticed very unusual; One day ordered coffee at Starbucks inside the hotel and it was fabulous, great young lady very communicative and friendly ( I believe Zoe was her name) , I was with my wife and she was also very pleasantly surprised/ impressed with her skills and professionalism. Next day we wanted to repeat this experience and now the new lady is working, we received something that was like brownie/ sweet water??? I asked can she try to make better coffee and she walked away, now I followed to the other side of the bar and asked her again, she sent someone else later with real Starbucks coffee and never showed up again after . Another experience with luggage dolly; When I arrived I received luggage dolly at the entrance and was offered help, I refused because I don’t need help with my personal items; When I was checking out I asked for luggage dolly again; now the older gentleman working at the entrance responded very firmly; “ We don’t allow guests to use our luggage dolly it will be handled only by hotel employee who will help you pack?????? After that I left and carried my luggage and my wife’s luggage multiple times from seventh floor to parking to my car!!!!! LACK OF MANAGEMENT AND NO WORK STANDARDS FOR EMPLOYEES DEFINED IN THIS HOTEL, WAY TOO MANY EMPLOYEES WALKING AROUND AND NOT MUCH QUALITY SERVICE PROVIDED!!! Beautiful ocean view, that’s what I will remember!!! I should mention two names that make me smile and welcome; Lillie Billy at the front desk Zoe at Starbucks shop Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Talk about nickel and diming. I'm diamond and hotel insisted on $15 credit even though I was staying with my 10 year old in the room. Breakfast costs $25 adult and $12 child. About $45 with tax and tip. Even with a $30 credit you'd be paying so why nickel and dime it so much. Secondly, was charged $21.65 for parking while the app said $15. Had to argue with the front desk ladies to see the difference. Then they are like we'll do you a favor this one time and drop it. I'm like you're not doing anyone any favors just charge me the correct price.

Front desk, Emily, was wonderful! VERY helpful. We checked in and needed to change our room to an upper floor due to noise and bad view. She was incredible nice and accommodating. We were able to move to the 6th floor with a clearer view of the beach. Room was clean, floor tile in the bathroom had cracks in the grout which caused water to seep in and 'squish' so, that may become a mold issue quick. I do wish that there were signs coming out of the elevator that reminded guests to keep voices down in the hallway. A group accumulated near it at 2 a.m. and were talking super loud there and walking through the room hallways with no concept of ppl being in all the rooms asleep, it was a few times that this happened, very late. Location is nice, good amenities, restaurant food and coffee bar were good. You can use their bikes for guests and cruise around outside which we really enjoyed! Outside Valet men were awesome, there were 2 usuals, very kind and hospitable. FYI parking is 20$ a night which we did not know about when checking in. So checkout for 4 nights made it a bit of an unhappy surprise. It is what it is, but 20$ a night is pretty steep and really should be disclosed at check in.
