- JNJonathan Nemec2 days ago1.0Will never stay here again. My husband and I came to Galveston to get away thought the Hilton double tree would be good. But it was not, the front desk people very friendly, location great right across from the beach. The room now is different. The shower had mold, shower door shakes like it’s going to break off the wall, no microwave when requested for one they said it 10 dollars a day, 15 dollars a day to park in their parking lot. We had already spent almost 600 for our room for the weekend, why and when did Hilton start charging for a microwave and to use their parking lot. Elevator is so slow, the bed feels like the springs are going to pop through hard as a rock. My aunt uses Hilton all the time and my aunt even said when did they start charging for microwave and parking. Never will stay here again. We will use Marriott moving forward.

As the adults too since it has a bar there in the pool. Oh and the fitness center was cold and comfortable.

I'm a diamond member and they give you a cocktail at the bar. We met Bob, the bartender, spelled backwards is still Bob. He's the best great stories great times great drinks. Love this place before a cruise. Highly recommend.

If you sit on the mattress you immediately sink so far you hit whatever is hard below it. Instead of using a fitted sheet to cover the mattress, they used a sheet tucked under the mattress. Instead of using a comforter, they used a bare duvet insert between two normal sheets. Hard to believe this is a Hilton
