The service and location was very good but the bathroom needs to be painted. Paint was flaking off and the bed was squeaking bad. Hard mattress was uncomfortable! Water pressure was low in the shower.

The Room was great, I had some rolling in drilling going on above my room. I’m thinking that they had some remodeling going on throughout the night.

I had a terrible experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville. I booked this hotel for my 10-year-old son and me. The location is near our deer lease, making it convenient and eliminating the need for us to drive an hour the next morning to hunt. I chose Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville because the reviews were decent compared to other options in Gainesville, and the location was convenient for our hunting activities. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was texting on her phone while wearing a mask and was not very friendly. We went to bed, and around 10:00pm, the noise started to increase. It sounded like a circus, and the pounding on our ceiling was so loud that neither my son nor I could sleep. I called the receptionist, who informed me that another guest had complained and the issue was being addressed. The loud noises on the floor above us continued until 1:00am, and we could take it no longer. My son and I packed up all our belongings and headed home around 1:30am, and as a result, we had to reschedule our hunting trip. I called Hampton Inn & Suites' customer service number to report my experience with both the receptionist and the noise. They responded by telling me the mask was for personal reasons. I ended the conversation by telling them that the representative's mask was the least of my concerns; it was the noise that forced us to leave, as well as the receptionist's unwelcoming attitude. This was by far the worst experience I’d ever had with a hotel, and I will never go back.

We've stayed several times at this hotel, when we arrived we asked to use our AARP discount and they asked if we were Hilton members and we said yes, she used that discount but never told us what the discount was and the receipt does't show it either. Breakfast food was cold. When we checked out we let the concierge know that the shower didn't stay at a consistent temperature, it would turn cold then hot even though we put it the on in between temperature, apology but no tyoe of compensation. Now checking my cc transactions and I show 2 charges instead of 1, so I call and they tell me its the bank that is holding the charge, but I dont believe that is correct. We were celebrating our anniversary so not a good experience at all for us

I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and comfortable. I almost didn't stay because of the parking situation. My pickup and RV are 52' combined. I was told to park at the Trucker's Paradise, but they're no longer in business and the gates are locked. So, this posed a major problem and it was after dark when I arrived. I managed to barely squeeze into the hotel parking. 😅
