We stopped here overnight after returning from London on a 10 hour flight. I was disappointed to find a thick, black hair on the bathroom floor and the trash can under the kitchen sink was full. The room was just not clean and smelled nasty, like dirty socks. As a Diamond member, we've had good experiences with other Home2 properties, but this one was a huge disappointment. For almost $200 a night for a double, I expected a clean, fresh room. I have photos but the site has no way to upload them.

I had a disappointing experience during my stay. On two separate days, I found lizard in the bathroom. The first time, after several calls, maintenance finally came with a kitchen staff member to remove it. The second time, I was told the earliest assistance would be after 6 a.m., so I had to figure out ways to deal with it while I get ready for work. The staff mentioned there wasn’t much they could do and offered a drink and snack instead. While I understand policies around staff entering rooms, the situation was stressful and poorly handled. I hope management reviews pest control and guest response procedures so others don’t go through this. My rating will be a 0 if given a chance.

A Front Desk Experience That Truly Made My Day – Thanks to Katie!
From the moment I walked in, Katie greeted me with such a genuine smile that it instantly set the tone for the rest of my visit. You could tell she wasn’t just doing her job — she truly cared about making people feel welcome.
There was a small mix-up with my appointment time, and honestly, I was ready to be frustrated. But Katie handled it like a total pro. She listened carefully, reassured me, and within minutes had everything sorted out — all while keeping that calm, friendly energy that made it impossible not to smile back.
Throughout my time there, I noticed how Katie interacted with everyone — greeting regulars by name, helping new visitors find their way, juggling phone calls, and still finding time to check in to make sure everyone was comfortable. It’s rare to meet someone who can balance professionalism with such kindness and authenticity.
By the time I left, I remember thinking, “If every place had a Kate at the front desk, the world would run a lot smoother.” She’s truly the heartbeat of that office — efficient, warm, and a reminder that great customer service still exists.
