Not sure what the point of checking in early on the app was when I got re-assigned to a different room later. I got assigned a second floor room when I had initially checked in to a first floor room. The room also had a really terrible "view" of the roof of the lobby.
Very basic rooms. Generally clean, though a bit dated, in need of some maintenance. The compressor on the mini fridge in the room was LOUD and rattled on and off every thirty minutes.
Kind of scummy to put out bottles of water which were free for guests with a higher rewards status, but $3 each for normal guests (for really basic bottled water, good grief).
No free continental breakfast.
I would give this location a pass in lieu of other nearby hotels.

I will say, this is by far one of the cleanest and quietest Hilton hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid-back. I did arrive during the weekday but it still wasn’t a lot of people in the hotel. My bed was very comfortable and bathroom near spotless. The location is perfect. There is a small park like 5 minutes walking distance if you decide to get outside for a bit. You’re about 12 minutes from the mall and less than five minutes from some good eating areas. This location was perfect! I would definitely room and board here if I’m ever in the area again.
If I’m ever back in this area again, I would definitely room and board here.

After initial issues with my stay the general manager took the correct steps to compensate me for the inconveniences I experienced. I would give them a second chance in the future.

First, let me just say that I stay in Hilton properties all over the U.S. and I can say confidently that this is one of the nicest properties I have had the pleasure of staying in throughout all the Hilton brands. Myself and 3 other members of my family just stayed at this property this past weekend for the Texas/OU football game. We love this area in Frisco for the variety of things to do and restaurant options, which is a win in itself given the challenges of staying down closer into Dallas. I highly recommend this area.
The hotel is super convenient and easy to get to, modern, clean, cool, well organized and from where I sit, has some of the best staff working in all the different capacities, which leads me to my most significant comment...
When I left our room, as we were checking out, I inadvertently left behind a YSL purse in our room that I had brought down, as directed by my wife, to give to my daughter for the weekend. Ended up not being needed and stayed in my room the entire time. Upon arriving back home I discovered this disastrous mistake recognizing the value of the purse, which for those who may own one will understand the value of these things. I immediately called the hotel and talked to the front desk and told them all the details of the mistake I had made. They took good notes and after a series of conversations with their housekeeping group I received a call the next morning telling me they had the purse and would ship it to me. This was on Monday after the weekend. The purse was shipped yesterday and I have it in my hot little hands this morning, Tuesday. WHEW!! Can't tell you how amazed I am about their professionalism and sense of urgency and how relieved I am about this. This type of response would not be guaranteed at very many other places but this amazing staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Frisco deserves a huge acknowledgement of gratitude and thanks having pulled my rear end way out of the fire. Without question, we will be staying with them again in the future and most certainly next year for Texas/OU weekend!! My most sincere thanks to everyone at this hotel who helped resolve this colossal mistake on my part.

The hotel had a very pleasant atmosphere with a refreshing fragrance throughout the lobby and common areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and comfortable.
The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and had all the facilities we needed. The location was also perfect close to the event venue and surrounded by good dining options. We also appreciated the modern amenities and attention to detail around the property.
