    The room we had was filled with bed bugs. When we addressed the issue Karen was unprofessional and her attitude was not prepared nor trained to deal with this safety hazard! She stated she had only been working here a few months and only worried about who cleaned the room. I had to explain to her to contact the manager to elevate the serious safety issue. Karen's attitude was horrible, the room was horrible and the service was worse. Never once did she apologize for the inconvenience and did she try to make it right by compensating us for our room.

    I try my best to be positive. I've been using Hilton/Hampton Inn's for over 40 years now. I'll start with the Pros: The location was very near where we were planning to attend an event. Check-in was as smooth as any other Hilton/Hampton Inn hotel, we were able to pre-check in using the app. Cons: The widow units did little to help with the humidity and were so loud it was like trying to sleep with Darth Vader standing over you. Well in the middle of the night around midnight my wife woke up to use the restroom. I woke up to see her slip and fall in a large puddle of water in our entry way coming out of the flooded bathroom. The night manager came up with towels (no maintenance person to call and no housekeeping). He juggled the handle and when into the toilet tank to stop it from overflowing. He just dried up the floor with towels (no cleaning products) and offered to move us to another room. We were very tired so we decided to wait until morning. The new room: Toilet paper on the floor by the bed, pills on the floor and trash. (Just imagine if I had a small kid or pet that found that?) The bathroom: The toilet was backed up. We moved into room #3 across the hall. The floors were dirty and there were chips of paint beside the bed and wall (signs it hadn't been vacuumed). Outside on the curb leading to the entrance was a rat. The rat was the size of a 3-month-old kitten. I let the desk staff know and by the next morning it was gone. There was dog mess on the sidewalk in front of the Diamond and handicap parking sidewalks. I let them know two days later it still sit there as we left. This is absolutely the worst Hampton we have ever stayed at. In fact, it's worse than some of the Hotels I saw in the Middle East.

    Breakfast was good. Everyone nice but not overly friendly. Not very clean (not just from guests but extremely dusty) Room had a good size but was kept very clean. Night stand had coffee stains and the pillow case has holes. The room door didn’t close all the way - we always had to make sure it would shut right. Drain in the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. Seems more like maintenance issues.
