I stayed here for about 1 months for my business trip. Everything was okay and most of the staffs are pretty nice and friendly except 1 lady. She tried to break in my room twice at around 7 am on 11/19 when I was still asleep. She didn’t knock or called before she did so. I had to shout out load asking her not to open my door the third time. I was lucky that I remember to lock my room and also my door safety latch so she couldn’t open my door. Also, when I opened my door and asked her what she wanted, she was so rude and asking me what my last name was and also when was the date I checked in. This is really a bad experience for me, I don't think this is a safe hotel to stay if a staff can break in your room with no reasons.

UPDATE: owner is dismissive and if you’re going through a 4.5M renovation, that isn’t a sufficient excuse for the lack of quality and cleanliness during people’s stay. You should be replaced if that is the standard you uphold. Really got the ick staying here with my family. I have a 2 year old and a 1 month old. The rooms are very old and outdated and worn. We booked the 2 bedroom suite and the living room floor was damp, good thing we all had slippers. The couch was nasty and there was a big brown stain on the sofa mattress. The sheets were worn and stained. THE MOLD AND DUST ON THE VENTS— unbelievable.

Do not stay here! This hotel has hot water issues. On my first day, I checked in and saw a sign saying water would be intermittent due to renovations. There was no hot water on my first day, so I talked to the front desk on day 2 and checked multiple times throughout the day to take a shower. They told me to go back to my room and check again because the manager had just checked a nearby room. I checked and still had no hot water. I also noticed water leak repairs near the shower, so I assumed it was related. To make matters worse, when I picked up the phone to call the front desk about the issue, bugs crawled out. I checked out and booked a room across the street at the Home2 Suites. When I called the Homewood property to check out and explain why (and the bugs), the manager only said, “So we are checking you out then?” and made no mention of the water issues beyond saying it was “repairs” (the sign has been there since August, and now it’s November). She also didn’t acknowledge the bugs. The hotel is dated, which is fine, but they should at least make an effort.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had unwanted "roommates" (roaches), and a/c with inches of dust built up, and a sick that wouldn't drain properly. They are under renovation but construction crew is also staying in hotel and causing problems for other guest as they are drunk nightly. And the hallway ceiling has mold on tiles and water damaged carpet.

Oh my God worst experience of my life. So my daughter was simply going to a concert we drove down here. We booked a hotel that looked decent. We arrived about 1:30 in the morning. We put my daughter's, my niece and my mother in their so-called suite. It was supposed to be two rooms with the living room all connected. It was disgusting. Me and my husband had a room to ourselves. Just a simple kitchen area bedroom bathroom. What we did expect was for it to be clean. Oh my God. I am trying to tell you if you look at the photos water damage so it smelt disgusting roaches I cleaned the floor myself another roach came back out. OMG the beds were uncomfortable. The furniture was dirty. The carpets were disgusting when I walked in for one. I was like what the hell am I really that tired? Am I dreaming right now or is this the actual place that we booked cuz the pictures are not adding up. I literally had to sleep in my car. I could not do it after seeing the roaches and things like that there was hair in the sink like someone had just got done. Shaving the tub was dripping. The toilet was loose and it was making sounds. It was ridiculous soon as the sun hit when there was a peep of light. I got about it there so fast and asked for a refund. They have the nerves to only give me part of the refund and I had to sleep in my car. Mind you so 7. :00 a.m. we woke everybody up and we ran for our lives. Do not book there. Oh, last but not least, there was a sign up saying the water might turn off during certain times of the day because they're working on some construction I don't know. But excuse me. Hey, that was not anywhere in the booking information that I have too decide when I want to take a shower and if I do decide at the wrong time the water could cut off. Oh my God, what a horrible horrible experience. If I could give them a negative I would. The location was fine so that was okay. Now the two people that were working there it's not their fault so I gave it two stars far as the service because it wasn't their fault that these things are this way. Everything else I would have gave it a negative 1 million
