They had it totally decorated for Fall with scents of apple and cinnamon. It felt welcoming, vs. walking into a blank slate shell of a lobby. The rooms were spacious rith a couch, desk and mini kitchen.

I understand they may not be hard for everyone, and I don't expect home quality at a hotel. However, the pillows were lovely! The hot free breakfast was good but not great because the sausage was barely brown, the grits were very watery, and it took 3 passes for the bagel to get even slightly brown. But the eggs were decent, the coffee was good, the fruit was consistent. Good location for the cultural district. Clean, friendly, helpful.
