I've stayed here multiple times in the past only because it's convenient to my meeting destination. The rooms are dated and smell like mildew. I can deal with that as it is convenient, and they are trying to renovate. However, for my most recent stay I received a phone call less than four hours before check-in stating that due to renovations they were cancelling reservations, and I would be one of those that wouldn't have a room for the evening. The lady was nice but didn't offer to help me find another room. She only offered me points and she couldn't even tell me what those would be. Just her manager was making her deliver the news. Luckily, I was able to jump on The Marriot app before my flight left from another state and secured a room with them. Lastly, when I pulled up my Hilton Honors account, they are charging me for a late cancellation. I travel here twice a month for the foreseeable future and will not be visiting this hotel again.

Today was a long day for our family. After driving 7 hours, we arrived at the hotel close to 3 a.m. with our one-year-old baby. To my surprise, my reservation had been canceled because the card on file had expired. It was entirely my fault, I should have updated it ahead of time, but as a working mom who hasn’t traveled for work in over a year, things slip through the cracks. Still, hearing “your reservation was canceled” in the middle of the night, knowing my baby was asleep in the car and we were far from home, made my heart drop. I know situations like this can go either way depending on who’s at the desk. Thankfully, Miss Lila was working and she was truly our angel. She went above and beyond to help us, ensuring we had a safe, comfortable place to rest. Moments like these stay with you. This will be one of those memories I’ll carry with me. In today’s world, it’s rare to find good employees, but it’s even rarer to find people with genuine heart. Miss Lila is unique. She showed empathy, care, and kindness that can’t be taught. Miss Lila, my family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Front desk was very professional, rooms and location are great. The help was very rude. Especially the “kitchen” cleanup lady.

The hotel was okay. I’ve stayed in other Home 2 Suites in the greater DFW are that were much better. This location lacked some kitchen equipment, didn’t have smart TVs, but had a better gym set up than most. Every front desk attendant I spoke with was very polite and I didn’t have to wait long at all for assistance. I did find a large cockroach the morning of check out. I notified the front desk and they were quick to respond and very apologetic. Based on the disappointing amenities and finding the cockroach, I would not stay at this location again or recommend it to others.
