Stayed in a king suite. Immediately after checkin, our credit card charged a $50 incidental fee, just in case we damage anything during our stay I guess... this fee was not communicated with us ahead of time. Room's door is off center/leaning, requiring you to really lean into the door with your shoulder or hip to open it. Walked in and the first thing I notice is there's got to be furniture missing. There's not a single table in the room - no end tables, no dinette; just a desk area. There's a lot of oddly empty space... The pullout couch and accompanying chair are the style you'd expect to see in a cheap college dorm, not a hotel room. The walls are paper thin, I could hear my neighbors opening and closing their doors, walking down the hall, and every conversation they had all night. Speaking of the walls, they're mostly bare - there was no effort put into decorations or making the room feel comfortable. My toddler walked around the room barefoot until we saw the bottoms of his feet were nearly black from dirt or whatever else is in the carpet. Everything about the room feels cheap. Overall, a subpar experience- won't be staying here again.

We were greeted by friendly staff for check-in. They had ice water and fresh fruit in the lobby which was great after a long drive. The breakfast was delicious and they always have coffee in the lobby. The pool was clean and they provide towels for poolside.

Our stay was good, and we'll continue to stay at Hamptons. We are particular in our comforts and don't judge too hard as a result. With that being said we had a few minor complaints. The mini fridge was smaller than expected (1.6 cu feet), and it froze everything we had in there. The microwave didn't work well. The microwave heated our food that was in the fridge unevenly like a hot pocket. The glass plate in the microwave didn't have the teeth to allow the plate to turn. The comforter was too narrow, and I struggled to stay covered all night. AC worked amazingly! My house is normally 65 at night, and we were able to get it down to 60. The sheets and mattress was comfortable. Loved the blueberry waffles!!! However the butter was frozen for the waffles though. A bit frustrating to get it to melt on the waffle. We wished there were more doors besides the front door to access the hotel. Plenty of parking all around the building but most people don't want to park in the back to have to walk to the front. The bathroom had the big containers for lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Personally I don't use those since I can't trust what's in the bottle is what's supposed to be. I like the digital key available in the app. I used that while my husband had a physical key.
