This stay was extremely disappointing and does not live up to the Hilton name in any way.
From the start, the door was broken and would not lock properly, which immediately raised safety concerns. The bed sheets were dirty and had hair on them. When we requested clean sheets, staff handed them to us and made us change the sheets ourselves, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one under the Hilton brand.
The issues continued throughout the room. The towels also had hair on them and black spots, and the hot water machine showed visible mold, which is a serious cleanliness and health issue. Overall, the property felt dirty, poorly maintained, and neglected.
The elevator was extremely slow and dingy, adding to the rundown motel-like feel. Speaking of which, this place honestly feels like a basic roadside motel with Hilton stickers slapped on it, not a true Hilton experience.
Sleep was nearly impossible due to the air conditioner being excessively loud, cycling constantly throughout the night. Because of this, I barely slept at all. Although the room does have a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, it was difficult to enjoy anything with the noise level.
The only positive I can honestly mention is the smart TV. Unfortunately, that alone does not make up for the cleanliness issues, noise, maintenance problems, and overall poor experience.
I would not recommend this property and would strongly caution anyone expecting Hilton-level standards. This stay was trash, and Hilton should seriously reevaluate allowing this location to operate under their name.

Hilton is completely embarrassing itself with this display. After a long drive, all I really needed was a roof & bed after a long drive, but the experience was pretty awful, even as a lower priced option.
I booked with Hilton Rewards, but still waited 2O min to check in, at 1 AM -- literally no staff at reception. Around breakfast time, the morning staff was friendly, but overwhelmed and scrambling.
At 7AM, the "bagel bar" hadn't been stocked. There was no cream cheese or knives. There were no napkins, and no spoons available for oatmeal.
The ice machine worked, but the water station was unavailabke and awaiting repair.
The place was understaffed with apparently no management on payroll. The hotel crew was working as hard as possible to keep things flowing.
As guests, others and I were trying to assist where we could.
Rooms were clean, but it looked like the contractors ran out mid-build. So sloppy. So chintzy.
The hotel appeared to have 2 buildings. The restrooms in the main lobby were out of service. I was told to use the restrooms in the neighboring building. Looking around for the restrooms outside of that buildings lobby, I saw the rooms & hallways were shockingly busted up with an appearance of mold & water damage.
No surprise, the restrooms in 2nd building were also out of service.
I should have kept on driving.

Much fewer food items and amenities than other Spark locations. The shower door needs something because water leaked out to toilet floor no matter what we did.

This hotel is a POS. The service was shitty. They NEVER came by to clean the room once on a three night stay. The shower leaked, went cold FAST, and there was hair in the sink and shower.
Our child did get some chocolate frosting on the sheets. So I understand the challenge in cleaning that. And there was some chips on the floor. They charged us $250 damage fee. That is far too much money for something that a vacuum and washer can get out. We were told the “chips embedded into the carpet.” What?! And a vacuum cannot remove things that fall onto the floor?????? And CHIPS at that.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. At all.

This must be the worst Spark Hotel in Texas. We stayed there 12/12/25 and had several negative experiences. There is NO fitness center. I didn't know there were any hotels today that did not have a fitness center. There were no cups in the room. I had to go down to the coffee area to fetch some cups to use in the room. The bed was good but the desk "chair" was an ottoman. Breakfast was a disaster. We knew that Spark only offers a continental breakfast, and that is OK, but this was at the bottom of the barrel - instant oatmeal with no condiments to put on it, the pastries may have been OK, but when we arrived, there were only 2 items in the case and no one replenished the case during our breakfast, the coffee & hot water dispensers were very small and while we were there they all were empty, the milk and oat milk dispensers were also small and also ran out while we were there, the desk staff seemed to be responsible for refilling these empty containers and were very slow to do that because of their divided attention, the seating area was very small with 5 tables - there were several people waiting to get seats. Someone had spilled a sticky drink in front of the elevator door, which had been poorly mopped up, so it was still sticky and had been tracked into the elevator. Someone from the Spark brand management needs to visit this place soon to correct some of the underlying issues. A place like this gives a bad reputation to what should be a decent low-end brand.
