- STS T1 day ago3.0I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience that I’d like to share. On the positive side, I really loved the rooms, particularly the flooring. The absence of carpet is a significant plus for me; instead, they feature tile or laminate flooring, which not only looks modern but is also much easier to clean. It seems like the hotel is in the process of updating their HVAC systems, as I noticed a wall panel indicating some renovations. The existing floor/window system worked effectively without any complaints during my stay, which was a relief. However, there were a few drawbacks that affected my overall experience. One major issue was the bed setup. The beds aren’t bolted down, which caused them to move around quite a bit, especially on the hard flooring. I believe securing them would enhance guest comfort significantly. Additionally, I encountered a problem with the shower system designed for handicapped accessibility. It was unfortunately not functional, as the panel fell into the shower tub, making it unsafe and inconvenient. While the service initially appeared smooth, I faced some challenges with management and coordination. I checked in after 3 AM and, despite clearly displaying the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, I received a knock at 9 AM. What was even more frustrating was that, despite having arranged for a late checkout at 1 PM, I got a call at 10:30 AM reminding me to check out. This level of disorganization was perplexing and detracted from my overall experience. In summary, while the hotel has great potential with its modern rooms and flooring, there are several areas needing improvement, particularly regarding bed stability, shower accessibility, and service coordination. If these issues are addressed, it could become a fantastic place to stay.

The room (Rm 102) was good but the TV was limited and seemed very dim, hard to see during the daytime. We spent more time in the room than planned because we were there for a family funeral service and there is not much to do in EP during the week. The location was good but a little difficult to get to from George Dieter. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in the immediate area but we ate the breakfast that was provided and it was really good. I will stay there again if we return to EP for family.
