I have been to several Hampton Inns, but this is the worst one i've been in. Don't get me wrong: The room was ALMOST like all the other Hamptom Inns i've ever been in. The rooms were clean, but the pillows are god-awful and the shower pressure was mediocre. The other Hampton Inns i've been in had nothing to complain about in the room. When i've exited out the west exit, i noticed that one of the doors were literally broken off, allowing bugs and wasps to enter freely. Wifi is very slow unless you pay for the faster connection. The coffee in the front desk is either empty, or lukewarm/cold. No attention was paid to the coffee. No cold water to dispense other than inside the workout room. Location is full of impatient cars wizzing about. Plenty of places to eat, but you will need a ride to get there. Breakfast is no different than one you would get from La Quinta Inn. No bacon. Mediocre scrambled eggs and round sausage patties with potatos. No different from La Quinta Inn. Also, all the drinks only spouted out water. No orange/apple juice or any other drinks other than water coming out. It just seems like attention to detail is lacking here at this location. Would i ever stay here again? No. Why would anyone do that? You can get a room at La Quinta for significantly less money and basically get the exact same thing. The only thing this Hampton has above other 2-star hotels is the pool and workout room. If you aren't into that, just go grab a 2-star hotel that costs less.

Their parking lot gets raided by people breaking into cars. They have cameras and all that, but no one is really watching what's going on. It's a small parking lot too.

My spouse and I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites (Desoto, Tx), and our stay was a not worth it. My primary and most distressing concern was the discovery of visible bloodstains on the side of the box spring cover and side board in my room. To awaken and subsequently find such a significant and abhorrent breach of cleanliness, having spent the night in the bed, was deeply shocking and utterly unacceptable. This is not merely an oversight; it represents a critical failure in your cleaning protocols and raises serious questions about public health and safety within your establishment. The psychological impact of realizing one has slept in such an unsanitary environment cannot be overstated, and it instilled a profound sense of unease which interrupted my stay and caused my spouse and I to secured another hotel in the area. Beyond this alarming discovery, the overall condition of the room further compounded my disappointment. The carpet appeared visibly soiled and unkempt, indicating a pervasive lack of attention to detail. Additionally, my spouse found strands of hair present on the bathroom toilet, which further reinforced my concerns regarding the thoroughness and efficacy of the room's cleaning regimen. These details collectively painted a picture of neglect that is simply not what I would expect from a Hilton property. Furthermore, even a seemingly minor amenity like the breakfast coffee was affected. When I attempted to pour a cup downstairs, the dispenser unfortunately yielded only coffee grinds mixed with a small amount of water, rendering it undrinkable. This reflects a lapse in the routine maintenance and servicing of guest facilities, adding to the cumulative sense of disappointment and a feeling that fundamental standards were not being met across the board. These issues are not minor discomforts; they are fundamental failures that severely compromised my comfort, peace of mind, and indeed, my basic trust in the cleanliness and quality of my accommodation.

If you’re booking a room with the jacuzzi tub, don’t. You’ll be on the first floor and the outside doors slam so loud all night long. You would think a “3 star hotel” would at least have the slow closing doors. Couldn’t be this place. Kids ran the hallways all night long not just on the first floor but we heard them upstairs too, the service desk will text you asking for feedback but won’t respond even when it says “text here for anything” this hotel knew exactly how to ruin a birthday weekend out of town that’s for sure. I begged my significant other to go else where so we could get at least a little sleep. Worst experience ever, I will never go back to another Hampton inn, this specific hotel ruined it for all Hampton inns.
