Overall not a great experience.
Got to the hotel and was met by a very rude young man. No welcome. No greeting. Nothing. I asked where to give my vehicle information. He said “can’t you see the signs all over the parking lot?” I said there is a sign when you come in that clearly says “hotel guests only. All others must pay.” A reasonable person would believe the parking is complimentary for hotel guests. I asked if it could be waived for gold status. He laughed and said “even diamond members have to pay. What makes you think you’re so special?”
He never went over my food and beverage credit. He never said thank you. I reported him to the manager next day. She did apologize and said they have had numerous complaints about him. I had about $42 in charges. She did not offer to waive or discount anything.
Def will choose another hotel when I come back to Dallas.

From the start my husband and I have had issues when speaking with staff and booking. We had chosen our room online through their app and simply wanted to confirm the room we chose with their staff. We called and they told us that the room we chose was unavailable and then the lady on the call realized that she was looking at the wrong reservation (she only asked for my husband's last name, not anything else). She then confirmed that we did have the room we chose, which was 616. We got an email confirming the room number as well the night before we checked in.
The day of check in, we recieve a text message saying our room was ready. Then when we arrive and ask for the keys to the room, we get told that the room is unavailable again. They said it needed to get deep cleaned and there was no timeline for when that would happen. The person at the front desk was also not eager to remedy the situation either and only wanted to switch our rooms. Ultimately, very little was done for their lack of communication. I would not be as upset if they had told us what was going on in the moment and not waited until we got there to check in to say our rooms were switched. Again, after clearly stating we wanted that original room and having them confirm that for us multiple times.
All we wanted was a decent view of downtown Dallas for new years and instead we were met with unsatisfactory service.

It pangs me to have to leave a 2 star review of this property but I must. The rooms are awesome. The restaurant was great. The location was so undesirable it mars the entire property.
I don’t mind locations off the beaten path. Nor do I dislike locations where there’s a decent amount of homeless. But this location is such a problem. All night, trucks, cars and motorcycles revved their engines as they passed by our hotel it was almost impossible to string together more than an hour of solid rest. And I’m not talking about a Toyota Camry. I’m talking big Texas style monster trucks and tricked out muscle cars with large engines. They would rev their engines it seems through the curves of the close by highway, or around the corners of the neighborhoods the hotel stands in. Why? While not 100% sure, it doesn’t go unnoticed how much TX holds disdain for their homeless population. Even making it illegal to feed them in some situations. Revving their engines here just adds insult to injury for the men and women who are forced to call the streets their home. Making sure they get very little
sleep. On the 8th floor it’s loud. At street level it’s gotta be obnoxious.
It’s 310am on the morning of our departure and I’m up writing a poor review bc of just how frustrated I am. In no way do I blame the staff or employees of Lorenzo. They have been amazing. But a hotels primary roll is nothing more than to offer safe, comfortable, quiet accommodation for their guests. And sadly, Hilton missed the mark on this one solely due to location.

Absolutely terrible customer service. My wife left her wallet there by accident and it’s taken over a week calling about it to get confirmation it’s there. They refuse to tell us how much it weighs or how to create a level with absolute zero information.. when speaking with house keeping manager on the phone she told me that all she would do is give an email to send the label to and that it… I just paid 200 bucks for the room, 20 dollar parking and now I have to somehow figure out how to get my wives wallet to her so she can feed our children. As a Gold member, we will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was great, clean, and trendy; the location made it easy for us to commute to dinner, drinks, and breakfast in the morning; the staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and I would like to give the place 5 stars.
Unfortunately, due to the proximity to I-30, the noise coming from the highway is unbearable. Like, whatever you’re imagining when I say that, double it. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Our room was facing the interstate and it seems like there was no noise treatment in the room; we might as well have been sleeping on the underpass. Two white noise machines, ear plugs, and pillows over our heads couldn’t drown out the noise.
At 3:00AM, exhausted and without sleep, we finally asked to be relocated to a different room. The only room available was perpendicular to the highway vs. directly on top of it, and while it was still noisy, any relief was welcome. The overnight staff was super accommodating and I’m so thankful they tried to help.
My recommendation to the hotel is to give guests the notification when booking that the room is against the highway. I can typically sleep through most background city noise, but I would not have stayed here had I known it would have been such an issue. Only book this hotel if you are guaranteed a room facing the parking lot, opposite the interstate.
