I have been staying at this property every few months for a quarterly conference. The service, cleanliness and breakfast are some of my favorites. The rooms are quiet which is paramount and super nice.

The front desk girl called me as I was on my way to the hotel to tell me my reservation was cancelled because they overbooked. And my reservation was selected because it was on a discounted rate. It was completely unprofessional to be treated that way, regardless of how the booking was made.

I'm a big fan of embassy suites, I gave this location 3 stars because I did their survey they sent me and I have not heard from them.
I put the issues in the coordinated boxes in the review, apparently that's not a good place, hopefully you'll see this one.
During my stay: my room was located in the back of the hotel, there was a not very loud and constant noise, very annoying when trying to sleep. The banging noise sounded like old pipes knocking. The cook at the cook-to-order station was rude not only to me but other guests a well. I ordered scrambled eggs, cheese & spinach. She took the utensil out of the ham container to get the spinach after I just asked if there were any turkey meat products. I bought that to her attention but it appears she had no idea what I was talking about. I abruptly left that station, without the eggs if course.

Hotel in desperate need of a remodel. Rooms was in bad shape....cracked shower, door splintered at bottom from water, headboard looked like someones dog chewed on it, and more.
Go to the DoubleTree instead of this hotel.

Don't park your car here. They don't have clear instructuons on how to use the shuttle or where the shuttle will pick you up. Don't get lost in transit for a shuttle that takes an hour to get you, but might miss you when the instructions weren't clear.
Not to mention, other hotels have had their shuttles out in multiple rounds during the tine you have been waiting.
Update to your reply-
Yes, I understood the length of time to wait for a shuttle. I called when I exited the plane to let you know I was here, was told it was be about 40 minutes before the shuttle left, thats fine. It arrived about an hour after my call(and passed right by me). Again, I was waiting.
Instructions given were to go to baggage claim, go down one floor, exit outside and stand by the green wall. What wasn't highlighted, or touched on, is there is two green walls( Again I watched other hotels pick up right from where I was standing so I am sure you must be aware there is confusion to that)
I watched the Embassy shuttle drive past me, the furthest lane from where I was standing, in front of "a" green wall, though apparently not "the" green wall, and I jumped out faliling my arms for the driver not even look my direction and keep driving. Tried to immediately call the hotel, because I am an hour in, for no one to answer, multiple times.
I called the Third party I booked through. And miracously the call was answered, they then told me about there being two green walls, one far from the left and onr far to the right.
If I called to say I was waiting, you know I am there, you don't pick me up by the 1st wall(which would have been the correct one) you don't drive past the other one to make sure no one is waiting, but the farthest lane from there and drive by?
Then, I am told I must wait another 45 minutes.
I only booked parking here due to shuttle service, and did not use it for drop off or pick up ( I had a ride after initial parking due to departing from a different airport, but arriving back to love field)
