My wife and I visited here for an event in Dallas. The hotel itself was OK, but the warmth and hospitality of the restaurant staff at breakfast stood out. They were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Thank you to Fernando and Carmelo and the lovely egg station lady for taking great care of us during our short stay and for going the extra mile!
For each of the past four years, our group has held a conference at the Doubletree Market Place, in Dallas, TX. And each year the service has been good and the staff reliable. But this year it was EXCEPTIONAL. Josh, the Banquet Manager was hands-on and available whenever we needed him. He helped us solve a number of last minute issues and helped keep us on track. Thank you, Josh and Doubletree Market Place for making our event a tremendous success!!
Stayed here for five nights for a conference at the Hilton Anatole, a short ~8 minute walk away. Very easy to get to and there are a few Diamond parking spots near the front. I checked in quickly with no issues and was given a bag with water bottles and cookies. The cookies had walnuts and the staff offered me a nut-free substitute, which I really appreciated.
Rooms felt dated and had a slightly musky smell (3/5). They are quite small (especially the bathroom), but nothing uncomfortable. My bathroom was missing lotion and I had issues working the thermostat, but the staff fixed this within a day.
All of my staff interactions were very pleasant. The staff were quite polite and extremely responsive via the text line (shout-out to Karissa for an incredibly fast response time. If I'm thanking an AI, could've fooled me).
The gym was surprisingly modern! Two benches, basic weights, a Peloton, two elliptical and three treadmills that were actually very modernized. One treadmill was out of service unfortunately. They gave little bottles of water that were very hygenic. (4/5)
Probably the biggest pleasant surprise of the hotel was how exceptional the WiFi is here. It's one of the only hotels I've ever stayed at where the WiFi was good enough to play online video games with reasonable ping. Honestly a surprise and a huge plus.
As a Hilton Diamond member with two people in the room, I got a daily $30 credit that was usable for the bar, breakfast, or room service. I redeemed this every night for dinner with no issues. Generally got an entree and a side of some kind (see my review for TerraNova). Tips did NOT count into the credit.
Overall:
Hard product 3.5/5
Service 4.5/5

We got a room here for a show downtown. We didn’t want to travel far and also this was a little mommy daddy time for us. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but I figured we had been to and liked a doubletree in Abilene so it’s worth it for $140 on a Saturday i thought. My husband booked the room and usually I do that kinda thing but i figured…again it would be ok. We got there around 1 ish on 11/07/25. Ok first of all front desk girl didnt even look at us when we were checking in. Didn’t seem happy or interested to be there. $20/day for parking in a parking lot anyone can get into anyway. No free breakfast. The room must have just been cleaned because I think check in is at 4 and we got there early. The room seemed clean. I also liked the view from the third floor. The bed was very comfortable. The room was small and lack luster, but we only needed it for a night. I wish I had made the reservation though instead of my husband because the parking cost and no free breakfast would have been deal breakers for me seeing as we didn’t use the pool and the price was really steep for the room and that’s it. It’s like your paying for the free cookies and paper thin walls. Might be back, but not for that price.

Title: “Where Diamond Status Means ‘Dial Another Number’ — Thanks, DoubleTree Dallas Market Center!”
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be a Hilton Diamond member treated like you just wandered in off the street, allow me to share my recent *hospitality* experience at the DoubleTree Dallas Market Center.
After realizing I’d left a pair of sandals in my room, I called the front desk — silly me, thinking that maybe, just maybe, a Diamond guest might get a little help. Instead, I was told they’d have housekeeping “call me.” Spoiler alert: no one called. The grand solution? “Go to the website.”
Because yes, when you’re a frequent traveler living out of airports and hotels, what you really want to do after a long day is navigate another website just to ask about a pair of shoes that are almost certainly sitting right where you left them.
Apparently, customer service here means passing the buck as efficiently as possible. The front desk could’ve been replaced with a cardboard cutout holding a phone that says, “Try online.”
So thanks, DoubleTree Dallas Market Center, for reminding me that loyalty status is just a shiny label — and that sandals, much like good service, are hard to find around here.
After reading the response, I’d like to point out that I contacted the hotel first before reaching out to the diamond desk. Front desk attendant was borderline hostile. Again, no customer service.
