- NMNikeda MaxieSep 26, 20251.0I do not recommend this hotel. It may be inexpensive, but you should definitely pay a little more to get better quality someone/anywhere else. I definitely will next time I visit Corpus. On the surface the room looked decent but there was an unusual odor that was pretty strong as soon as you go through the door. There was also a dead lizard in the bathroom. The surfaces of the tables/stands next to the bed, and the dresser/organizer that the TV sits on, were dusty and not exactly clean. There were the usual stains that are in some hotels, but the absolute worst part was the bed not being clean. There were tiny little bug things in the bed...and I didn't noticed until nearly midnight because I was there for 2 all day events and didn't get to the room, 11:45pm and literally needed the room just to have a place to sleep for the night. It was so uncomfortable, nasty and extremely hard to get a good night's sleep, which made for a very difficult couple of days and drive back (after hardly any sleep).

Lots of sitting around chatting meanwhile the breakfast was a disaster. To advertise a free breakfast is truly a disservice. I just witnessed a family with kiddos try to have a breakfast and the lack of food there, and the father was really doing his best to keep his cool. (no milk, no orange juice, no fruits, just soggy premade fake egg patties, sausage patties and raw potatoes.). If you stay here, plan on spending 20$ per person for breakfast at the Denny's across the street.
